Just trying to be creative in some kind of way | Consistency? I don't know her | Currently trying: gif making! | theme on desktop needs updating don't look at it lmao

With respect I ask that you do not save and repost any of the gifs I post here. If it's for a post on tumblr, I believe if you tap on GIF when making a post you can search for them and simply add them to your post with credit. That's fine. Otherwise, please ask me and say what it's for.

Here's, on a basic level, what me making a gif involves:

  • Getting the scene(s) you want
  • Cutting them into and organising the right shots
  • Adjusting the size and speed
  • Possibly adding captions (which is Effort)
  • Sharpening to bring back quality and details lost in compression
  • Adjusting the colouring of the gif so it looks nice
  • Rendering each gif
  • Getting html code for the caption and working out what tags to use cos tumblr's funny about them

A simple list like this may make it seem quite basic, but this honestly takes me hours at a time to do. So you can understand why downloading and posting stuff within a matter of seconds might upset your local gif maker. Thanks

Hello. I was wondering if it's ok to reblog your posts?

Yeah absolutely, reblogs are great and highly encouraged! :) It's just the saving and reposting without credit that's not great - cheers for asking! ✨💕

| | GIF TEXTURES FOR YOU TO USE IN YOUR EDITS, PART 2! | | (PART ONE) Hi friends! All of these textures are ones that I have personally gif’d and then edited from free resource videos. You are welcome to use any and all of them! No credit is necessary, but if you do save one of these, please like and/or reblog this post so that others can see them! Following me is always super appreciated, as I love friends and I will also be posting more graphic resources that you might be interested in! I recommend applying these in Screen, Lighten, or one of the other “Lighter Color” options in Photoshop. That way, you get the white dots and such without the black background overlayed onto your image like this. For those who are new to this, here is a tutorial (not mine) on combining gifs with another image! Please do not delete / cut + repost this caption, these take quite a while to make and edit! I appreciate it, have fun!! Feel free to link me to your creations!
