“Prophet Īsā said:Do not look at the sins of people as if you were lords, but rather look at your own sins as if you were servants.”

"O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded."

Please kindly listen to this recitation. It only takes 3 minutes. The brother who is reciting recently died at the tender age of 25 years اِنَّا للهِ وَ اِنِّا اِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُون His mum is requesting everyone to forward this around as sadaqah jariyah for him.
May Allah forgive and accept him and grant him Jannatul Firdaws - Ameen
One major and perhaps underrated benefit of having Quran playing in the background while working/driving/walking is that slowly and surely your ears get accustomed to it and your heart begins to find tranquility in it and wants nothing else; the immense effect of this is only noticed when we hear familiar verses and our mind rushes to figure out which part of the Quran it is from and how we know them.
Imam Malik رحمه الله said :
❝My mother would tie a turban on me and say to me : “Go to (the great scholar) Rabi’ah and learn from his manners before you learn from his knowledge.”❞

Imām Mālik Bin Anas said to a young boy from Quraysh :
❝Oh son of my brother, learn manners before you learn knowledge.❞

Please, reblog! IIt’s called self defense. Apart from having here, in the US, one of the highest cases of homicide and rape in the world and high rate of GBV, think about how this could help your mother or sister
It’s a shame I have to reblog, but please do the same
“Full of thoughts that language does not have the capacity to explain.”
Eid Mubarak, wishing you and your loved ones a blessed Eid^_^
Thank you so much for your message. May Allah subhanahu wa ta`ala (exalted is He) accept your fasts, your prayers and your supplications; and may the blessings of Ramadan continue throughout the year for you and your loved ones. Ameen.
Today I was incredibly honored to sit with the Imam of Masjid AlAqsa in Masjid AlAqsa. He shared a profound statement for those of you who are lonely while celebrating Eid.
He shared that Abdullah Ibn Mubarak used to be asked, “Don’t you get lonely?” Abdullah Ibn Mubarak spoke of the Quran and he said, “When I am with it, I am speaking with Allah. I am speaking with the Prophets. I am speaking with the Angels. I am never alone.”
Being lonely is especially raw on a day like Eid. But know that the trees and the birds, the mountains and the ants, the sun and the sky all praise Allah with you! I’m sorry you’re alone on this day. But you aren’t truly alone.
Take the Quran out to coffee, treat yo self and know that God sees what you’re going through; He hears you, He sees you, He praises you and He loves you.
Eid mubarak fam!

Since this corona drama has put my baking business plans on hold, I'd like to take this new Tumblr as an opportunity to share my really pretty food photography session photos..
My talented friend helped me take these in her tiny home studio. I couldn't have pictured these photos being taken any better.
