It's the day!

Tyeson is 7 years old now! Its crazy how time flies, to see how much I've changed since I first created this wacky unicorn character and how much my characters have changed as well.

This year's celebration is extra special because I commissioned @pinetreedan to make art of my grumpy boy and his friends, (mostly it was a project for school but reasons overlap)

First up is the heroine herself, Princess Evalynn, Knight of the Realm of Kopano. Tyeson's best friend.
Next is Prince Ernest, Evalynn's younger twin. A scholar of magic and lover of a certain unicorn's sister.
Next is His Highness, Oreldin Kazuhiko Suda III, Crown Prince of Mewhye. Tye's older adopted brother.
Next up is Sonja, the sweetest Unicorn ever, Tyeson's half-sister, the only Unicorn that treats his ability to turn into a human as a gift instead of a curse. In love with a certain golden haired prince
And last but not least is the man, the milf, the legend. The birthday boy himself. Tyeson Moonshifter. Royal steed, alchemist, avid reader, and my dearest son.

the process of double knitting socks mentioned in “war & peace”. this is the oldest historical mention of the method, hence why nowadays it’s known as ‘the war & peace method’, and it seems like the knowledge of how to do it was lost/forgotten until this article from 2006 that details it. it’s still not a very popular way of knitting socks due to its difficulty , but it’s fairly interesting in how it works.

every other stitch on the needles belongs to the inside sock and, as you go, you knit one stitch with one yarn and the next one with the other, so that the two projects share the same needles but aren’t actually connected to each other

then you can, in fact, magically pull out the second sock from inside the first

the transgender swag exhibited by the m9 is off the charts.

Four of them go by chosen names. Beau’s dad wanted her to be a boy, and is disappointed that she isn’t. Fjord remade his personality to mimic the only father-figure in his life. The two strongest people in the party are both girls. The person with the long pink hair and undercut and teal/pink mushroom aesthetic has the deepest voice in the party by a COUNTRY MILE. Caleb grew his hair long and shaved his beard as soon as he felt it was safe enough. Mollymauk Tealeaf is there.

But have u ever placed a real gun in the hands of your eternal and fated enemy, watched his hands shake as he points it at you, and trusted that he will not let the bullet touch you, all for a magic trick that was your idea in the first place? have u ever seen true fear in his eyes and still known that even without miracles, he will let no harm come to you, even if that harm is only a ridiculous amount of heavenly paperwork?
