Yohji Yamamoto Spring 1999 Ready-to-Wear

This photo intrigued me, so I went on a research hunt. These ruins are part of the unfinished Hartsville, Tennessee nuclear power plant. Construction began in 1975 but the plans fell through and it was fully cancelled in 1984.

One cooling tower was built and there's the unfinished base of a second right next to it. This view is taken from one of the crumbling support buildings.

Interestingly, a prison was built right next to it in the 2000s. Around 2016 someone proposed a plan to clear the rest of the ruins and build an industrial park, but as far as I can tell that's gone nowhere.
