Is anyone else TERRIFIED to encounter Gloom Hands in the Depths? I've seen them precisely once and it was in a random above ground cave in Hyrule Field and it was so early on in the game that it feels like ages ago now. I've seen people talking about them being in the Upside Down Depths and now I'm in a permanent anxiety state every time I'm down there roaming around just trying to find the Old Map markers

Ok now my copy of TOTK has arrived it's time for me to stop procrastinating finishing BOTW. My tasks are as follows:

  • Finish the last 6 shrines (yes they're all tests of strength don't @ me)
  • Get the Garb of the Wild™
  • Stop being a little bitch and kill one (1) Lynel
  • DESTROY GANON

That was a Saturday well spent! I did everything I wanted to get done, plus I killed 2 Lynels (a red and a white!!), got my Korok count to 310 which I think is a fair achievement, got all the EX bonus armour, upgraded a bunch of stuff, finished all 76 side quests, and beat the crap out of Ganon while wielding the Master Sword and Hylian Shield.

What's actually INSANE is since BOTW doesn't track quests, memories, gear etc. as completion stats, and gives important things like shrines and divine beasts the same 0.08% percentage stat as finding single koroks... even though I have 130+ hours in this game and feel like I've explored every nook and cranny... my final completion stat is still only 49.38% 😂 This thing literally goes on forever. Still, I've got it to a place where I'm more than happy to call it a day and move on to TOTK.

What a game. 🏆
