I really like drawing the gems in "regular" clothes. It's interesting to think about what their personal styles would be like!
I haven’t drawn them in months but the movie will be out soon so quick dood
So i tried some redesigns for my human Lapis so i can make her as distinct as my human Peridot because i felt like she was fading compared to Peridot, like shes a supporting role of the ‘main character’ which is not the deal, they are both main characters in my comics and au and i felt like she needed a refreshment in her design.
I regret from the bottom of my heart for not giving her darker skin from the get-go because it reaaaallly suits her imo. I dont know if im going to renew her skin color in the comics because i wouldnt have a reasonable explanation for it other than tan but i reaaaallly really love this darker skin tone.
The haircut is prolly what i will go for in he comics because as i said i feel like she needs a refreshment and make her as exciting as Peri is. Im honestly super happy how she turned out with the undercut cuz ive been planning on drawing this for a while so i can see how she looks and when i sketched those and finally saw her im like ‘…damn i want people to see this’
