There is nothing more beautiful than cheering others on and lifting yourself up.

Lately, I’ve been trying to circle myself with people who do just that. I am a firm believer that the people you surround yourself with are the people that you will become. Sadly, I feel like we are taught that trashing people will somehow make you feel better about yourself. I also feel like we are taught that calling someone else beautiful somehow takes away from your own beauty. The strangest thing is, we are all only human, and yet we try to tear each other apart. Why? What do we benefit from trying to knock others and ourselves down? 

We all cry. We all have bad days. We all get embarrassed. We all overthink and get overwhelmed. 

But we also know how good it feels to do good, to smile, to make someone else smile, and to laugh so hard your cheeks hurt. 

At the end of the day we’re all human, so let’s just be each other’s shoulder to lean on, 

                                  you know?
