listen the thing with grian is that he is fundamentally incapable of not escalating. he'll come up with a bad idea. say, out loud, "this is a bad idea that nothing good can come from". he will then. do it anyway. because he has no impulse control. and then when he inevitably faces consequences for the action he predicted ahead of time would have consequences. he is surprised pikachu face offended that there are CONSEQUENCES for his ACTIONS? absurd. he'll have to escalate again. surely this time there won't be -

so okay. joe is not a twitch partner. one of the reasons he never wanted to be a twitch partner is that he simulcasts to twitch and youtube, which is to say, when he streams, he streams to both. (and also to joehills.net/live, lately, although that one doesn't have a chat.) however, recently, twitch changed its tos. amongst other things, one of the changes forbids simulcasting without express written permission, regardless of whether you're a partner or not. joe has been entirely unable to find someone to contact to try to get express written permission (he has, in fact, gotten no response at all the entire time he has been trying to contact them). so he has decided the solution is to do a DIFFERENT stream on twitch at the same time. so he's technically not simulcasting.
he also tested tumblr live last night to see if it's an option at scale,
