New blog post from November 21, 2011, that I just published today.

God has definitely been working in my life. Here’s just a short paragraph from the blog:

“Am I doing enough? That word enough kept coming to mind as I was talking with God. And I don’t think that we should get so hung up on enough. Enough implies that you are just trying to get by with the bare minimum. I did enough to get what I wanted. But if I am truly living for God, enough doesn’t matter because I will be doing everything I can to live for God.”

“And every day the world will drag you by the hand yelling, “This is important! And this is important! You need to worry about this! And this! And this!” And each day it’s up to you to yank your hand back and say, “No. This is what’s important.”

“Everyone says love hurts, but that is not true. Loneliness hurts, rejection hurts. Losing someone hurts. Envy hurts. Everyone gets these things confused with love, but in reality love is the only thing in this world that covers up all the pain and makes someone feel wonderful again. Love is the only thing in this world that does not hurt.”

“No matter how much the truth hurts, it’s always better than being lied to”

“Self-love is a process. It will require time. It will require patience. It will require change, solitude, pain and everything that isn’t much pretty in this life. But in the end, it will be worth it. It will be beautiful. It will be you.”
