When I hear this, I hear “I’d rather have people die from not having healthcare than clogging up the system I use because I might die”. You’d rather not have Universal Healthcare for everyone because it’ll make things worst for the people who already have it instead of worrying about the people who don’t have it. You’d rather have a few people have access to it immediately and risk having the people who dont’ have access to die because we can’t them clogging up the system. Also, do you know what a triage is? It’s a neat little system that ranks the priority of injuries. If little Tommy sprained his ankle while Jimmy got maimed by a bear, do you really think Jimmy is gonna have to wait to get fixed because Tommy was first?
