This is it guys. I know y'all have seen me posting about a little thing called The Adventure Zone, and today is the day of the finale of the season. Season? I’m going to say season. Its been about a year since Ive started listening to this amazing thing, and I have gotten through a lot of hours of boring chores listening to this thing.
For those of you who don’t know, The Adventure Zone is a podcast where three brothers and their father play dnd. They tell a tale of many heros, ranging from a wizard who used to be a cook, to a forest ranger trying to stop two worlds from being torn apart. From a man who lives dogs and rushing in, to a woman with firey powers and an even more firey personality. From an old clueless devotee to a man who earned his life by stealing, to a man lost and found. They tell of stories untold, of battles waged in minds and the world alike.
They talk of joy, hope, love, hate, despair, and sadness. They talk of other worlds, of places we only dare dream of. They work together and bring people together. Instead of only fighting, they attempt peace. They bring laughter into a mournful time.
These are the McElroy brothers, who also run My Brother, My Brother, And Me.
This is a podcast that I fell in love with, and as I’m sad to see these characters go, I’m much happier knowing I found the podcast. Can’t wait to see you in the next one, boys. You’re going to be amazing.
