I’ve been messing around with composing shots in cinemascope ratio, and thought I’d take a crack at Jake Wyatt’s dope fantasy story Necropolis
I love this scene with the spooky cat witch and her fox-friend, making a shady bargain with the main protaganist.
I wasn’t able to get around to the hourlies yesterday, but i have a GOOD EXCUSE!
Vintage tokusatsu with Etsuko Shihomi and Mitchi Love. Trying to get stronger with my shapes and lose the lines a bit, it was a fun exercise.
I realized a couple of things in the new year:
1: that Big Boss gets his aesthetic from Deunan Knute
2: that I probably enjoy drawing digitally the MOST with justin oaksford brushes
also, I’ll never tire of old school appleseed cuz every page is killer.
