im taking my younger siblings to see my dad this weekend, it was his birthday last week. looking at 8 hours in a rental! dad hasn't seen me in three years, my brother in eight years, or our 18yo sister in a decade as he's been imprisoned. last year my sister got stabbed multiple times at school, and obviously father feels terrible he's not around to protect his children even though that was an unavoidable incident. i might not even be able to get in to see him because of my gender marker being different on my license, but come hell or high waters im gonna ferry those kids to him. if you wanna give a black history month gift:

I live on a rez in Canada that’s rural so a car is extremely important!

My mom is currently without a car and needs to pay $2000+ for the repairs (She has paid about 1000 already on 3000 she owes)

I’m currently helping support our family from my music sales, money left over from my part time job, and any money from the community on here. We are all currently unemployed due to covid-19 as of right now. I know we’re all struggling right now so please don’t feel bad if you can’t send some $!
