all your drawings hold a dear place in my heart but especially your mother art, as it’s how i was first introduced to your stuff. i spent a long time drawing people that never looked like me. nobody i drew ever had my endless acne or my crooked teeth or my big nose. i was so focused on making smooth skinned dolls in my art. not to be corny, but seeing myself your art back then made me a little braver every time i picked up a pen. i know how goofy and strange this sounds, but i wanted you to know that your art did that for me. thank you
its not corny at all nor do you sound strange, i was the same way back then where I just sort of ducked my head down and didnt consider that there was more to drawing than what I saw on TV and in the popular tumblr artist circles before i found an artist one day when i was like, 14, who was just freely drawing characters with acne and thin hair and body shapes ive never SEEN in art before and went like ''oh my god this is allowed?". like that one artist changed my life in the best way possible and every time anybody tells me that my art has had even a minor tiny impact on their life or art i smile joyously because im sending out the same message that artist sent out to me so it feels like a snowball effect of something good. so im very happy to hear that anon thank you so much for the support

HAH! When I was working on character/prop design on Arthur, the script just said that Buster showed up in his pajamas. But since it struck me that Arthur’s pajama design included bunny slippers… and his best friend was a bunny, it seemed fitting to include Aardvark slippers on Buster’s pajama design.
Apparently the storyboard artist was amused and he featured the slippers in a closeup! I was so proud!
I want non Puyo Puyo fans to give me their opinion on this man

In a little over a week, I animated this clip of Finn and Nico, and I’m very proud of how it came out!! I tried to match the show’s style as close as I could, let me know how I did!
The song I used was “Leaving Rainbow” by staypuft (who composed most of AT’s soundtrack)
Nico’s voice was supplied by @parsenoire!
And a special thanks to @indianazell for helping with some of the linework for the bgs!! And also to my animation professor Polly Guo who did board on AT and said my boards looked good LMAO
