i completely understand that feeling. i had surgery last fall and getting back into my gym routine was difficult.
i’m not a health professional, but i can tell you what has worked for me:
1. my diet. eating healthy and clean really transforms your body!
2. i have found a lot of great workouts on pinterest and have incorporated some into my gym routines. there’s one that i love which consists of intervals on a stationary bike.
3. water. drink lots of water! a lot of the time that we are hungry we are actually dehydrated. (i found myself eating this morning and realized i was actually just really thirsty)
4. green tea helps me get my day started, stay motivated, and also has great nutritional benefits. there are also some spices that you can mix up (i can’t remember it right now but i’ll post it later on my blog) that when mixed with freshly squeezed lemon and water helps speed up your metabolism.
5. nike workouts are also awesome! i don’t use them as much since i’ve found my pinterest workouts, but it’s nice to have some guidance when getting back into the gym routine.
6. take a few personal training workouts
i hope this helps! once again i’ve been in this position (and will actually be in it again because i’m having another surgery in a month) and its hard! BUT YOU CAN DO THIS!
