Idk some guy who like stuff

Yall remember how Texas had that "report an abortion" form that they had to take down after a week?

Well, Missouri has one, only it's for reporting transgender concerns.

Comrades. Friends. Romans. Countrymen. You know what to do.

Avatar

This is the time to get creative with it, too, because realistic reports are a Bad idea here (they will get used as “evidence” that gender affirming care is dangerous). We actually want to send all the random, wild shit we can think of!

my final form

yeah. for once, actual random bullshit works.

most times, I advise against sending obviously fake things because they can just filter it. but submitting things that seem plausible, even if they are completely fake, will be used as a reason to actively harm us. because these people don't care whether or not they're telling the truth.

so don't make up believable stories. instead just spam them with copypastas until your email gets blacklisted. then get a new email and spam them again.

~ Pale Skin ~

I see your eyes, blue as the ocean and sad as a shipwreck

I see your hair, a gold purer than even Rumplestiltskin could ever make

I hear your laugh, sweeter than an angels choir

And I hear your snort though you try and hide, claiming it to be 'ugly'

My dear nothing brings me greater joy than hearing it

I feel your heartbreak and I wish for nothing more than to make it stop

I feel your tears on my shoulder, a silent river of sorrow

Slowly piece by piece I will raise the pieces until they grow back together

My arms may shake but will never waver, refusing to stop until the job is done

But darling never mistake a job for a chore

I will do this for as long as it takes for you to be whole again and I will never bore

And I long to tell you, to release my heart of this weight but I fear your heart will break again

This time without me to hold up the pieces

So forever I will hold this weight, for my own heart would shatter if I were the cause of your sadness

If ever your pale skin smoother than marble carved by the gods and softer than the sky

Were to leave because of me

When you need shit to really hurt
(Please note that this is what I consider to really hurt not what everyone does)

• Character A tells B something that they consider a secret (whether it be because it's embarrassing or could ruin thier reputation ect) in confidence trusting that B won't tell anyone only for B to tell someone for a little money or something similar.

• Character A goes away for a bit (holiday, hospital or what ever) and character B takes care of their pet/s but doesn't reay know anything about said pet/s and accidentally gives the pet/s they really shouldn't have. A comes back to a half-ass explanation an apology and dead pet/s

• Similar to the last one A goes away and B takes care of their pet/s and for what ever reason opens the door accidentally lets them out. B tries to catch/find them but can't and then has to explain to A what happened.

(Bonus points if A goes out looking and finds the pet/s dead somewhere)

• Character A and B are in a relationship (romantic or platonic, you decide) and get into an arguement over something that B considers silly and A care deeply about. A getting fed up with B's continued dismissal storms out and makes thier way home, just out side B's home/ buding they are involved in a motor accident and die, B finds out vis the news and spends the rest of a long time kicking themself

So with these what you will, constructive criticism is welcome and if you do use these credit is appreciated.

Worldbuilding: Expanding the Scope

1. Establish Home Base: Start with a relatively small scope of what is immediately necessary to understand what's happening. We start Gravity Falls with establishing Dipper, Mabel and Stan as main characters and that the Mystery Shack is their Home Base, also magic is a real thing in this world, notice though that they only really point out two creatures right now, there are time for more later.

This can be a specific location (a high school, a city block, a hotel room), basic rules of the world (magic is real, everyone in this neighborhood is rude, no one gets seriously hurt even in outrageous circumstances) and/or how the main character(s) fit in this world (they're the popular clique, they work for the government, their coworkers don't like them). Show, don't tell can work here, but depending on your genre/narrative it can work to have someone just say it.

2. Town Meeting: The next expansion isn't going to be too big either here, but now that your audience knows the basics, you can start building on that. We start seeing more of the town (the lake, various glimpses of locations during the wax figure investigation) and introduce more side characters here, as well as more magical creatures. All of this relies on what we set up in the Home Base section. They're also sure to only introduce a few more things each episode (a location, two characters, a monster, for example). We've gotten the introduction, now confirm that it's true.

3. Play in The Space: Chill out from heavy duty worldbuilding to enjoy plot and character. We've gotten things pretty solid here, and any additional details will be easy to pop in. Wait, if Gideon and Stan are enemies, why wasn't he mentioned earlier?! Because that's not priority. Introducing Gideon would've distracted from larger and more important elements, it's nice to be able to see him interact with the town that we know, rather than try to introduce both at the same time. Your audience can accept that not everything in a character's life was explained from the get-go. We can accept that the Tent of Telapathy has been in the town for a while even if we haven't seen it till now, especially because the story acts like it's always been there.

4. Chasm's Edge: This is where you can introduce those more nuanced, specific, surprise reveal, complicated worldbuilding stuff you've been waiting for! It's important that nothing actually contradicts what you've set up already (i.e. you can't say actually we've never had juice in this world when you've shown juice unless you're prepared to explain your big juice conspiracy too) and instead it works because we've learned about the building blocks of it. Bill is a big, new reveal, but his existence and role doesn't contradict what we've learned, neither does anything we learn from Stan's mindscape. The reason I call this chasm's edge is because it's cool because while this a big change, we're not actually in it yet, Bill has been introduced but they could make him just another monster of the week still. This is where characters think "ohno, there is actually some pretty important stuff about the world that I do not know"

5. Play on the Edge: Just like it sounds, it's a combo of stages 3 and 4. Things are different now that we have this new knowledge, and we need to adapt to that, us and the characters. This play is likely a bit less relaxed fun and more "hey what was that?" Stan lets us in on the secret and as we still have fun monster of the week, but the worldbuilding has become a bit of a puzzle as to what is going on, good news is they (audience and characters) have the clues necessary to do that and will continue to get these clues through play.

6. Fine, a little backstory, as a treat: Look, I'm not stopping you from having backstory before this, or from not having it at all. The point is more that you get some more knowledge in a more clear, bonk you on the head way. The world puzzle is solved and we have very little left to teach you in terms of how this world works. Story is starting to wrap up, so we need to get any last, big worldbuilding stuff out of the way so we can focus on that.

7. Fan's Payoff: This is where you rest on your laurels (kinda). The audience knows this world pretty well now. I call this fan's payoff because if you tried to explain just this part to someone they'd probably be pretty confused and there'd be a lot of "and then- wait so first you need to know that there's this restaurant and- let me back up" and the audience gets to bask in the coolness of how they just completely get what made-up fantasy is happening in front of them. They've earned it. And you get to bask in all your set up and gradual explanations paying off.

To end, trust your audience, they're smart. None of this is about assuming your audience's intelligence. If you explain something well, and gradually, enough, they will understand whatever complex lore you throw at them. This is about making your audience care.

Happy bithday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday dear me, happy birthday to me!

I got pretty fed up with looking for words to replace said because they weren’t sorted in a way I could easily use/find them for the right time. So I did some myself.

just get a VPN?

You can’t just tell people to ‘get a VPN (Virtual Private Network)’. Buying a VPN is like buying a house. It’s very very important. Having no VPN or having a ‘wrong’ one can seriously damage your life. Especially for Americans because their privacy laws are garbage. I am going to try explain why you should get a VPN but bare with me, I am from Germany and my English is far from perfect.

Let’s start with a simple test. Click this link here: https://whatismyipaddress.com/ It will tell your IP adres, your ISP (internet service provider), and your location. The location might not be very accurate, but then again, it’s just a simple website. Imagine what the government can do!

So basically, everyone can find out where you live. But there is more danger. Your ISP. Your ISP logs your every move online and they are required to keep it in case the government wants access to it (or if a 3rd party wants to buy your data (yikes). They have everything. What websites you visit. How long you stay on a website. What you download. Your search terms. European laws are more subtle on this but if you are from the US you are #@*#&, especially because Trump doesn’t support the open internet. It’s scary but maybe in the future you can’t get a job because the recruiter knows your searched on ‘how to deal with depression’ or anythings else that’s supposed to be private because it’s your f*cking right. Or you get a $100k fine because you pirated a movie 15 years ago. You need a VPN. You’re dumb for not using one. but what does a VPN do?

A VPN encrypts all your data so if it were be intercepted no one can ‘crack the code’ and damage your privacy.

Usually being online goes like this (simplified): Your computer —-> ISP (—–> keeps data —–> sells it)

But with a VPN it goes like: Your computer —–> VPN (encrypts data)—–> ISP (ISP can’t see shit)

Furthermore, a VPN hides your IP address and location by giving you another IP address located in Spain for example (you can often choose from a list and change as many times as you want).

Now that you know why you should get a VPN and what is does it is important to educate yourself because people often choose the wrong VPN. VPN providers are also businesses and have to obey the law. If you choose a VPN provider located in the US then you are throwing your money away because the laws in the US shits on your privacy. If the US gov wants the provider to give all their logs they have to obey.  The ISP  still can’t see what you are doing online and sell your data but the US gov can interfere with your VPN provider so NEVER CHOOSE A PROVIDER LOCATED IN THE US.

I just wanted to make that very clear so my followers don’t buy false security.

There is still more danger!  Who says your VPN provider isn’t selling your data? You need to check their logging policy. Do they keep logs? If yes, what for? For how long do they keep them? Tip: Choose a provider who doesn’t keep logs

More about law  The US is part of the Five Eyes program (the worst):

The Five Eyes, often abbreviated as FVEY, is an intelligence alliance comprising Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States. These countries are bound by the multilateral UKUSA Agreement, a treaty for joint cooperation in signals intelligence (source)

There is also a Nine Eyes (bit better) and Fourteen Eyes Program (better).  You don’t want a VPN provider who is located in one the Five Eyes countries.  If you had to choose go for a provider located in a country that’s part of the Fourteen Eyes Program or even better, go for a country that isn’t part of any program!

I know this is a shitty explanation and please pardon my english but now it’s time to do your own research. Take your privacy seriously. Maybe WWIII breaks out and you get killed for liking the ‘wrong’ FB-page.

Make sure that your future VPN provider both has green boxes for Privacy Jurisdiction and Privacy Logging.

I recommend ovpn.se and trust.zone. ovpn is located in Sweden so they are part of the 14 Eyes Program and they keep minimal logs. Their business ethics, however, are alright.

Trustzone is located in the Seychelles. No country can interfere and their privacy jurisdiction is the best you can get. The US want your data but needs to get it from Trustzone? The Seychelles will simply give them the finger and wave them goodbye. However, this makes this provider very appealing for people who torrent and criminals because they keep no logs (and that is how it shoud be) Also,  there are almost no marketing efforts so this provider is one the cheapest)

Also, often providers such as ExpressVPN are being called ‘The Best’ on websites about VPNs but know that this is just marketing which also makes those provider more expensive (and they too shit on your privacy)

This must be the worst article you have ever read but please, please take your privacy very seriously.

EDIT: I got many people asking me which provider I use. For those who want to know, I use Trust Zone. They offer a free 3-day trial with no strings attached. But still do your own research!

I am also with Trustzone but I think you forgot to explain one of it’s most important features. It protects you when you are using someone else’s Wi-Fi. If you are at Starbucks and you use their Wi-Fi your privacy is at risk. Anyone with ill intentions could steal your information. Especially if you are using an unsecured Wi-Fi hotspot. With a VPN your data gets encrypted so no one can steal it.

Wait, what’s going, on? Did trump destroy internet privacy with a bill or something? Where’s the news? Oh wait, why am I getting visions of Alex Jones and selling water purifiers?

He hasn’t yet but he says he wants to. And if he is serious about it it would be really easy to do. Since all our data is already recorded, as the person above explained.

Avatar

Trump wants more surveillance of Muslim Americans. This in a country where internet privacy is already close to non-existent.

btw this post only has 11k notes? That’s quite disappointing for something this important.

Don’t reblog this post to save a life. Reblog this to protect an entire family!

@earth-ruins @writing-prompt-s Should I get trustzone for my mobile device?

If you use public Wi-Fi, then yes. Which VPN you use is up to you, amigo. Take @earth-ruins advice. Do your own research first.

@elvesfromthedeep just brought the current situation in the US to my attention (March 30, 2017).

To all my friends in the US, please read this entire post. Making everyone aware of VPNs is going to be my mission. Your privacy matters. Please reblog this post.

Don’t tell me you just wanted to scroll past this. Stop looking at pictures of cats for a moment, okay? Don’t you realize how important this is? This is dangerous! ‘America, the best FREE country in the world’ my ass.

With this new law your ISP can sell your Internet history which could include passwords, usernames, religion, credit card numbers, race and much more to the highest bidder. So here is what I want you to do. You are going to read the whole thing and before you think ’this is so important. Let me reblog this real quick and go back to admiring cats again-NO! Don’t reblog this. Take action first. Then reblog. Sign up for a free trial! Trust.Zone offers one (here). Yes. It might be difficult to set up a VPN for some people. But is that going to stop you from protecting yourself and your family? 30 minutes. 30 minutes is all that it takes. 5 if you know how to install software. The problem with some of you is that you see ‘difficult’ as something negative. I want you to see difficult differently. I need you to push through this stuff. You are going to protect yourself. There is nothing negative about that. VPNs are fun and costsaving too! A VPN bypasses geographical restrictions so you can access websites you normally can’t or you could start Netflix’s one month free trial over and over again- forever. And it’s legal! (unless you use it to buy weapons etc.,) Don’t tell yourself that you are too tired and that you will do this tomorrow. Because that isn’t going to happen and you know it. You have to do this right now. You only have to click on it. Don’t let this/shit/life just happen to you. Take yourself seriously. Get a VPN.

Privacy is not a privilege, it’s a fundamental human right
