So, as I was replaying dmc 5, I decided, to take the time to look at the scenery details in the game, this time around,

And guess what ??

You know the area where play-able V first appears???

Well, I think some of the repeating graffiti there, could actually be linked towards Vergil’s mindset in this game/ hints towards Vergil.

So, without further adieu, here are the pieces that personally stuck out to me.

The word mind is graffitied in very big eye-catching letters.

Nero and Lady are the only names from the main cast, to appear in the graffiti.

Both are specifically linked to Vergil in some way.

Nero - is Vergil’s son.

Lady - Directly Interacted with Vergil in dmc 3, is someone that V makes a point to insinuate he knows, and is also someone who Urizen ‘saved’ along with Trish for no ‘real’ reason.

“I have seen the Devil.” - Vergil’s corruption and, chains to Mundus.

“Kingdom” - What Urizen is trying to build.

“Blood” - What Urizen is collecting for his kingdom

“Ghost” - What V and Urizen arguably are to Vergil.

“I am so alone

the appocalypse has come!”

Words written directly underneath a hooded man. (Notably with the same white.)

- We know that a hooded Vergil was the one who kick started this ‘apocalypse’.

(2 out of the 3 hooded figure pieces have these words underneath also, so i am not sure if the last 1 is an error or not ? Could also be another hint as well, since, this time Nero is written underneath instead.)

Finally, This one was much harder to read but, I’m now pretty sure, It says something along the lines of…

“ What is

That which

Thinks that is

What U R ? “

Which sounds an awful lot like someone chastising Vergil, for trying to be something he is not.
