Op what does this mean, what could they do? I've read homestuck, I just need context.
[page 4865]
they could run for president of the united states
Fifth time I make this post and fifth time I lose the link to that translation but whatever man this one bit in Innana's Descent where Ereshkigal asks "who are you? You who speaks from your heart to my heart, from your liver to my liver?" agrhgrhgrhgrhgrhgrhgrhgr I love this terribly lonely woman who yearns for any sort of contacts. Nergal is a bitch and a motherfucker I would have stayed with her in the underworld.
*talking as if anyone else can understand my brainrot* Ardbert FinalFantasy14 and Morgan Lostbelt6 are unexpectedly similar characters. y'know when you're a hero who's supposed to save the world and you try so hard but fail to save anything, and even the people you protected start to see you as a villain, so you fall into despair and cynicism. And then along comes some new hero who has been cast in the same role you were meant to play trying to complete the duty that you failed (granted they both have very different reactions to that)
but at your core you're still just someone who loved traveling with your friends.

Follow a fellowship of sapphic knights as they’re seduced by witches, queens, goddesses—and each other—in a dark, lush fantasy inspired by Arthurian legend. Under the reign of King Theomacha the Exalted, the Land of Maidens flourishes. Her knights protect and explore the realm, seeking artifacts lost to time and fending off wicked, cunning magics. Seure, scholar and knight, traverses the world on quests of discovery. When an invisible, eldritch library begins capturing local villagers and subjecting them to strange interrogations, Seure tracks the enchantment to its source - a woman named Ganeida, who has been bound to the library for centuries. They make a bet with Ganeida to break the enchantment that holds her in place, but it could come at the cost of Seure's own freedom - or losing their heart in the bargain.
Seure the Tempered is a 16,000 word high heat F/NBi fantasy romance novella, available here and 40% off for release day.
Ok I mentioned it earlier but since I'm on comp now here's a most complete post on: Pillowfort as an alternative to tumblr.
What's Pillowfort?
It's a social media platform that takes bits from tumblr and livejournal's functions (ie: there's a dash and you can reblog stuff on your own blog like tumblr, but there are also communities that you can follow where people will hopefully reblog any relevant posts of theirs here.)
Ok? Cool? How is it any different than any other socmed out there?
Well for a start you can talk about cock there. The website is user-funded and they're very vocal about allowing nsfw on their platform (you can see their post here for the specifics of what is or isn't allowed)
Other cool features include but are not limited to: being able to set who can see and/or interact with your posts (for exemple you can make posts that only your mutuals can see, or that anyone can see but only your followers can comment on, ect,) an actual blocking feature that works, and a dev team that actually listens to the userbase.
Oh that's pretty nice actually. What's the catch?
The website is in beta, meaning there are some well-needed feature that are currently still in development (read: the queue & draf feature.) Also, the userbase is waaay smaller than tumblr's, which means that 1) fandoms that are pretty active on tumblr might be near-empty on pillowfort, and most importantly 2) whatever content you will post there will take a while to get traction.
Ah, I see I see. Would you rec it then?
Depends on what you're looking for. If you're a casual user of socmeds (ie: you like to throw your stuff into the void without much expectations that it might get attention) then yeah totes! However, if you're mostly here to build your platform (and that's no judgement on my part, you are stronger than any us marine,) then honestly save your energy for elsewhere.
Okay! I wanna check it out then! How do I make an account?
You can hit me up and I'll find you an invite code, or you can pay a one-time 5$USD registeration fee to get your own invite code. There's also a free demo version if you just want to test out the site's layout.
Hella! Anything else I should know?
If you're interested, here's a little guide on using pillowfort, could come in handy!
As per usual. Buncha pf invite links below the cut.
You talking about MashMorgan again
nods wisely. mash deserves to be fucking deranged about morgan.
I finished FGO's Babylonia arc last night, and while I am still more insane about Camelot (Saber my beloved), I absolutely LOVED Babylonia and the characters and themes introduced and developed throughout.
Needless to say, while I was extremely hesitant about getting sunk into this game, I do not regret it one bit
For no reason in particular, you should check out the event Merry Christmas In The Underworld (youtube link, transcript link) at some point. Doesn't have to be rn you can kick Solomon's ass first if you want but you'll appreciate it a lot trust me :)
The upside of reading the Tain is that you get insight on a super interesting culture, you get to broaden your horizons by dipping into a time far beyond our own and yet still very relatable, and you get to see some sick-ass body horror. The downside of reading the Tain is that you get filled with unspeakable rage anytime you see a Cu Chulainn dog joke.
Rottweilers have a bad rep for no reason they can be perfectly fine dogs when raised correctly. However for the purpose of this metaphor I'm gonna ask you to stop picture Cu Chulainn as a cute dog or a playful dog or even your neighbour's shitty dog who keeps barking at you, and instead start picturing him as the popular perception of a rottweiler.
Need you guys to understand that Chulainn's titular hound is described as an absolute monster of a guard dog who can and will maul grown-ass men on sight if they step on his property uninvited. Like when the king realized that he'd invited a kid who would arrive after the hound was released he despairs because there is no way the kid is gonna live through this it's a hunting down it doesn't know pity or charity it's just gonna tear you apart until you're dead. Of course the kid in question is Cu so homeboy was fine but when you hear "Cu is a dog" this is the sort of dog you should picture.
