Hi everyone! Some things you should know about me:

▸ my pronouns are they/them ▸ I’m nonbinary (I am neither woman nor man; nor am I both) ▸ I’m queer (specifically, demisexual, biromantic, and polyam) ▸ I love educating people on queer things, and I won’t judge you for the questions you ask if they’re from a place of compassion and a desire to understand

this space will be heavily queer. no main characters in any writing works will be straight. it’s not who I am, and it’s not like there aren’t countless stories about straight people. this is about representation that I, and others in my community, don’t see enough of.

I’m also all about the good vibes. each week, there will be a post reminding you how wonderful you are. how to treat yourself with kindness. I’ve even considered other writing related things such as journal prompts. things to reflect on. but always, always about good vibes. feeling the sadness but not allowing it to consume you. and moving forward.

we’re about character growth in this house, folks.

re: graphics and stickers: I’m not a graphic designer by any means, but I love spreading love and creating little graphics. so if you choose the tier that allows you to have digital downloads / mailed stickers, then you’ll see lots of typography and good vibes. please feel free to send in requests for things.

the discord server will be for anyone who chooses those tiers, especially helpful for people who are creatives themselves, and there will also be an exclusive channel where I will post all of my exclusive things based on what tier you are in!

other notes:

▸ everything will have content warnings, and I request that you avoid things that do not suit you or your mental head space

▸ I love to share things. you might find more than you expect here. there will be polls to let people vote on what they like and don’t like.

▸ you can always message me here, email me at mx.ronnieriley@gmail.com, or hit up my social media accounts: instagram and twitter: @withlove_ronnie tumblr: withlove-ronnie pilllowfort: ronnie discord: ronnie#7752

please let me know if you have any questions or concerns!

with love, ronnie

gifted kid burnout things that no one seems to talk about:

  • the raw panic of hearing about your potential, positive or negative
  • a weird brand of imposter syndrome where you genuinely think you’ve fluked your way through every success and you’re gonna be Exposed as a Fraud
  • never having learned how to study and having no idea where to start now that you need to
  • reading college level books as a kid but being basically illiterate now
  • dismissing your struggles as irrelevant because other people have it harder and i should be smart enough to handle this
  • feeling like you’ve lost all control over your life (maybe manifesting into depression, anxiety and disordered eating in a grasp for control over something)
  • being unable to decide on a career path because you could have had everything, only to watch those opportunities disappear as you fail to commit
  • Peaking early and feeling like an eternal failure ever since
  • Remembering what it felt like to be motivated and at the top of your game and you could do ten things at once and cared so much, but now it’s a struggle to keep up with anything
  • ~depression~
  • ~functional depression~ so you feel like you are faking it
  • Holding a mediocre job and feeling unfulfilled but feeling like you aren’t good enough to do anything else
  • Being book smart but struggles with social skills and communication with others.
  • Feeling like you are the worst person on earth for making a mistake or not knowing something

My favourite genre of movie is 'vapid girly teen flicks from the 90's and early 00's that actually have important feminist and socially conscious messages'.

Some examples;

Don't be afraid to break the pointless and sexist rules society has imposed upon you, especially if they stand between you and your dreams.

Learn to recognise your self worth beyond the trappings of success.

Recognising and working to correct your white privilege, is not only the right thing to do morally, but will also lead to a more diverse and exciting playing field.

You absolutely do not have to sacrifice your femininity or sense of self in order to make your way in a traditionally masculine field.

gentle reminder: let yourself feel things, but at the same time don’t give a lot of attention or time to thoughts that make you sad or anxious. those are usually untrue, but they feel genuine because of the attention you give them. give most of your attention to the present moment and small things and comforts to look forward to.

JoJo is opening up about her journey to self-love! The 29-year-old musician sat down with Access Hollywood’s Sibley Scoles to discuss her past trials and tribulations in the music industry and the upcoming release of her new album “Good to Know” on May 1. JoJo revealed that her latest single “Man” holds an empowering message for women and young girls. “It’s about being comfortable with yourself,” she explained. “Just feeling confident, a little cocky even.” She then went on to discuss her love life, admitting, “If I’m going to have a partnership with somebody one day, they’re going to have to be really freaking awesome because I know what I’m bringing to the table as a woman.”
