So it turns out they recorded an extended version of the music from the farewell scene! They had to cut it from the movie, but it’s still on the soundtrack!
Dead By Daylight Teachables
No, this won’t be a discussion of viability or usage, but more the creative liberty side of the DBD teachables system. So if you like dead By Daylight, but don’t like the fanfiction side of the game, this post is not for you.
If you play Dead By Daylight, you most likely have a favourite or preferred Perk build. I myself am a Killer main, and a Trapper main at that. Say what you will about it, but I am a solid purple-rank and my personal setup is BBQ, PGTW, Devour (instead of NOED because I don’t want to be a total asshole) and IG. But, looking at the perks- mainly BBQ, Pop and Devour, I thought; These are called Teachables. Does that mean that the Killers and Survivors teach each other how to mimic their skills? While it is most likely the hand of the Entity, it’s fun to imagine, so here are a few personal thoughts I had.
- One of Huntress’ Teachables is Hex: Huntress’ Lullaby. I like to imagine that Anna taught the other killers her Russian humming, allowing them to mask Skill Checks like she can. Imagine Amanda, Rin or even Evan humming the lullaby. It’s adorable to picture.
- A personal favourite guilty pleasure Perk of mine is Hangman’s Trick (Pig) if I see a Jake with a toolbox. Therefore, imagine Amanda teaching others how to rig the hooks like she can.
- One of Cannibal’s Perks, Knock Out, involves especially brutal swings, in reference to Leatherface causing Kirk’s seizure and death in ‘Texas Chain Saw Massacre’. Imagine Bubba, the cute damn marshmellow he is, teaching the others how to hit to make the Survivors hurt
There’s more I can think of, but apply this to your own Perks. Imagine your favourite Killers or Survivors teaching each other their perks.
