zoro being so jealous is so funny to me because he’s literally got the most secure position. he was the first person to join the crew, luffy specifically tracked him down because of his reputation, he’s the first mate. they r loyal and devoted besties. and yet he’s still like “hmmmm”

see the issue is i have a long history of obsessing over duos who have committed their lives to the cause (and each other) so finding out that zoro and luffy met by chance bc luffy heard about a demon pirate hunter (who would call luffy a son of the devil), and were brought together by their dreams/aspirations and an underlying current of goodness that ran in their blood, and within a few weeks time they were speaking nonverbally, had inside jokes, and were on the same wavelength of stupid..... and zoro became such a loyal and devoted first mate that he would follow luffy to hell if need be/would die for him..... has completely rotted my brain. they win
