But that is *the point*, yes. It's not aimed at what tumblr users want. It's aimed at bringing people from outside. Strictly business, that. The idea is that they'll be expanding the user base while the current one doesn't leave too much because they're used to here.
It's not that they don't get what tumblr users want, it's that they really don't care. We're already here, innit.
