Meet Florence. She’s just over four years old and lives with her grandmother in Bulike, a little village in Uganda. Since her community lacks vitamin A–rich foods, Florence needs vitamin A supplements to keep her eyes healthy.

Florence shows off some of her finest camerawork. Thanks to vitamin A distributions, nearly all of the children in her village have healthy eyesight. But there are many other areas in Uganda and around the world that still need help.

“Before, I simply wore what others picked for me and received what they did for me. I didn’t even know anything about myself so I had no choice but to be indecisive. These days, I know more about myself and I have been able to speak up. I have been making my own choices and saying my opinions.”

How Much Does Lasik Eye Surgery Cost in USA

How Much Does Lasik Eye Surgery Cost in USA

The cost of LASIK surgery is generally considered to be high because of the idea of using lasers and other high tech equipment. However, the cost of LASIK continues to come down due to improvements being made to the overall process. Don’t simply go to the lowest cost when choosing a surgeon; consider the following that may increase cost.

When you are considering different LASIK surgery opportunities you should question your surgeon on what is included in the cost of the LASIK surgery.

Finally, you should get in contact with your insurance company to determine if they will cover the cost of the LASIK surgery. Some insurance companies don’t cover LASIK cost because they consider the surgery to be cosmetic. If financing is not a problem you should strongly consider using the LASIK surgeon who best suits your needs and concerns.

Our local meteorologist ask us not to describe tornados as f1 -f5 or by saying big or huge. Preferes cone , rope or even rotating wall cloud when that applies I dont remember them all do you have suggestions

My ask was this: will storms continue to get stronger? And why were storms renamed EF1 and so on instead of just F1?

Storms are just as strong as they’ve ever been. So there’s nothing to worry about there.

EF1 vs. F1 is because a new damage scale was introduced called the Enhanced Fujita Scale (EF) which takes into account more damage factors and is considered far more accurate than the old Fujita scale. Ratings of tornadoes are more accurate than they’ve ever been, but there will not be a perfect system so long as it relies on damage alone since some extremely powerful tornadoes do little to no damage on the open Plains.
