“A new UN report has found at least 90% of men and women hold some sort of bias against females.

The “Gender Social Norms” index analysed biases in areas such as politics and education in 75 countries.

Globally, close to 50% of men said they had more right to a job than women. Almost a third of respondents thought it was acceptable for men to hit their partners.

AND YET MEN STILK STRUGGLE TO UNDERSTAND WHY FEMINISM IS NECESSARY

the only way to break sexist stereotypes is to say “Im a woman and i dont adhere to this” not to say “Im not a woman because i dont adhere to this”

And in case any of ‘ya think I’m kidding about the reaction from fans:

Also a perfect example of how men liking lesbian po/rn doesnt in any way mean they accept lesbians so maybe yall can stop saying we’re privaledged for this shit yeah?

I love love LOVE when the trans crowd uses their “women/gender studies” classes as “proof” of their bullshit

Not only is it stupid, but it also tells me right away that I’ve accidentally climbed into a clown car instead of my own.

College courses, depending on the subject and who is teaching it, can teach you a lot of things and give you a lot of accurate, relevant information, as well as historical context. Some professors make it a point to teach critical thinking to their students to make them smarter, better people.

“Women/gender/queer/LGBT studies” are NOT usually those types of classes.

They don’t teach the truth, and they sure as hell don’t teach critical thinking. They teach what’s mainstream. Ever had an “LGBT studies” or “women’s studies” professor tell you “Black transwomen started Pride and kicked off the Stonewall riots”? Yeah, that’s historically inaccurate (and can easily be proven so), but it’s mainstream.

Queer theory is just one theory out of thousands, yet it’s the only one that’s taught in these types of classes. There is no other option.

Any deviance from the mainstream or diversity of thought is swiftly silenced, and the perpetrator (in this case the professor) is either disciplined or fired.

Do you get it yet? All these professionals in science, medicine, arts, women’s studies, business, etc. are not going along with this trans/gender identity centered rhetoric because it’s accurate or right.

They’re doing it out of fear.

Everyone knows what happens when you piss off the trans community.

can confirm. had a “sex, gender, and society” class, and the professor gave us definitions of transgender, cisgender, among others as if they were legitimate concepts. but i had a feeling she actually thought it was true because she called herself a cis woman and had that kind of self hatred.

The fuck kind of job are you going to get with a "gender studies/queer theory/etc." degree, if not a teaching position at a university? Well I guess somebody's gotta run the cash register at the local vape shop.

You know, it’s actually really sad. Women’s studies used to be needed. In fact, it’s still needed. I got my first true introduction to feminism from a women’s studies class I took in college. But men couldn’t risk it, so they put on wigs and destroyed it, like they’ve destroyed everything else women fought and worked hard to achieve.

We should all be fucking pissed at what men have done to women’s studies.

just saw a vid of a trans woman on tiktok literally sobbing because she was so afraid to go to the fucking gas station to buy some food because of all the murders that been happening with trans women and im both extremely angry and sad about that. No one has to live in fear like that, i hate it god

damn i wonder how women go outside knowing that women are raped, murdered, and kidnapped every single day? and girls too with the rampant sex trafficking going on in the US? it’s so sad that women and girls have to be constantly worried about these things to the point of carrying weapons with them at all times imagine living in fear like that

tra stole the blm movement like they do every other movement

What murders I legit want to know what murders. Like the total number last year was 28. 28! Majority of who were in sex work and 18 were black. So what murders? Who is killing trans males with impunity like this?

Imagine being a black women with the statistics of one of you being killed every 19 hours and these fuckers act like they are the most hunted.

Troons are more often murderers than victims.

Where are the sources proving these mass trans murders are always happening? Because I think that transwoman was fucking lying like they always do.

"Women are defined as people with vaginas"

So you admit you think women are just pussies on legs

"Polydactyly is defined as being born with extra digits"

So you admit you think people with polydactyly are just a sixth finger on legs

imagine the deep cognitive dissonance that’s gonna be invoked in op’s psych if they search the key words “People will vagina” “mensturator“ and “uterus havers“ on twitter and finds out which group is unironically using these terms. imagine.

If I liked girls I would only date trans women. Sisters, you're all so damn beautiful. Even a hettie girl like me can see that!💕💙💗

That's because you're a gay man and they are also men. You're probably attracted to them, by the sound of it, you just don't want to admit to it because that would invalidate them and you don't want to be transphobic

Sorry sweaty, I'm only interested in men. Tiddies are great but they do nothing for me sexually😘

This is positivity for trans women so maybe go flick off your frustrations instead of hatespamming ppl

Or like, get therapy? You obvi have issues hun lmao🤣

idk i’m getting mixed signals

girls and women: even if you are ok with or consent to your dehumanization, suffering, pain, degradation or debasement in ANY form, it does not make the wrong done to you more acceptable or less awful, and you do not deserve to heal or have reparations paid to you any less.

if i see anyone else defending pornhub again i swear to god... TW RAPE/CSA

She has an Instagram, and it’s even worse. Men still stalk her from those videos to this day. They have followed her to Starbucks, she says she can’t leave the house. She is tagged in the video on twitter occasionally, gets DMed the videos of herself being raped, with men saying they want to do it.

Kill men and burn Pornhub to the ground.

cellulite is a biologically impressive feat of evolution & an important survival trait. media can fuck off, i love me some body dimples

HOW COULD YOU HIDE THIS GEM IN THE TAGS???

some facts for people asking in the notes

  • cellulite is a secondary sex characteristic, like breasts
  • its dimpling appearance is the result of a useful & unique form of fat storage that has to do w/ polyunsaturated fatty acids, the extracellular matrix, adaptations in skin architecture, & other anatomy things i’m not an expert in. it’s called ”Gynoid fat distribution”
  • stored fat, btw, is an evolutionary feat, and a big reason humans have thrived as a species.
  • most estrogen-dominant people experience cellulite, bc storing calories in gynoid fat is a great safety measure for bodies that might end up going through pregnancy. it’s an high energy backup that can nourish a fetus & protect the individual against future food scarcity. super important if your body is undergoing the major biological commitment that is, ya know, using your organs to grow a second, smaller body inside of yours
  • estrogen-dominant bodies literally came up with a new storage system to help keep us all alive! the storage system happened to be: let’s pack more in the trunk! let’s fit more moose in this caboose!
  • *SLAPS THAT ASS* THIS BABY CAN FIT SO MANY FUCKING EMERGENCY SURVIVAL RATIONS
  • also cellulite being seen as a ‘problem’? THAT’S A RECENT THING. human culture never cared about cellulite before. it’s a made up issue.
  • the world ‘cellulite’ originally meant something completely different! it first was used in France in the 1870s to describe cell tissue inflammation. you know. a real medical problem?
  • in a move of genuine human evil marketing genius, spas in the 1920s co-opted the term to describe a normal feature of human anatomy–and offered to cure it
  • seriously there is sooooooo much money to be made in making people feel like shit about themselves. capitalists adore that
  • so yes, cellulite is another evolutionary quirk that has to do w/ reproduction. that’s the nature of biology–even though many of us won’t personally reproduce, we inherit our genetics from a long line of people who did! damn them.
  • while cellulite ranges from helpful to harmless (and quite lovely, depending on cultural pov), other sex characteristic can be a great burden to the individual. (e.g. a truly concerning number of people deal with painful & debilitating uterine health issues.) we’re all carrying expensive and sometimes unwanted ‘spare’ parts (aka reproductive organs) that we’ll only use a few times (if at all) in our lifetime. regular maintenance of said organs can be a bitch
  • which, side note, is why access to reproductive healthcare is important for everyone, not just people who end up reproducing. we’re all carrying genetic traits & squishy bits as part of an involuntary ‘group effort’ to allow humanity to thrive. society should be doing everything it can to make lighten the collective burden. especially bc it falls disproportionately on different groups of people. we’re all in this together, but some of us are more in it than others.
  • (one extremely easy place to start might be to not demonize perfectly normal physical traits to begin with? possibly? hmm? maybe? maybe go with that?)
  • in conclusion: fuck capitalism, seize control of the narrative surrounding your body.
  • now eff off, go on, get outta here!

Women of the world; love your dimpled ass!! 🍑

“Estrogen-dominate bodies” you mean WOMEN?!? WOMEN have cellulite, men have a completely different connective tissue structure under the skin so their fat doesn’t dimple like ours. Women have a honeycomb shape, whereas men do not. Cellulite is a female second sex characteristic, and even women who take fake testosterone will still have cellulite BECAUSE THEY ARE FEMALE. Females are women, not “estrogen-dominate bodies” ffs and 90% of women have it.

Say WOMEN.

“estrogen-dominant bodies” asfsgadsdh I can’t for $1, say woman

Also: “which, side note, is why access to reproductive healthcare is important for everyone, not just people who end up reproducing….. especially bc it falls disproportionately on different groups of people.“ hmmm, I wonder what this group of people have in common…

If I had read this and didn’t already have the scientific background to know that they were talking about female bodies/women, I would have no idea this was a female-specific issue.

Making invisible the class of people whose biological sex unites them, not only makes it confusing and difficult to understand the science and who is effected by the traits mentioned, it also makes invisible that it’s patriarchy, sex based oppression that effects how we see these female body characteristics and how we treat genuine medical problems for women.

Also, someone else made a great point that post/menopausal women have low levels of estrogen and still have cellulite, sometimes more than earlier in their lives, and trans women, despite being on synthetic estrogen, are unlikely to develop much cellulite while trans men often do develop it because of the ways the female and male bodies fat cells are built differently.

The attempt to use inclusive language here is scientifically inaccurate and does not actually describe who is effected by cellulite. This is generally a female specific trait, though there are some males who develop cellulite, it’s not nearly as common because fat cell structure differs by sex. Including at minimum the words male and female, would have kept this post “inclusive” but would have also made it scientifically accurate.

Yeah, no. You have a fetish and you were mad you didn’t get to try to live it out sooner. What a creep.

I just went to his blog to see what other posts he has and it’s literally full of pictures of sexualised women, the misogyny is strong in this one. Putting text on them won’t change a thing my man, you think that women are defined by our femininity, capacity to be docile and whatever other sexist stereotypes you have. Fuck off.

trans women claiming they “think like women” and “act like women” and “live like women” is so blatantly misogynistic i almost can’t believe how libfems don’t see it.

how do women think? what are these supposed womanly thoughts, and how are they different from supposedly manly thoughts? how do women act? what makes these behaviors unique to women? how do women live? what about our lives makes these males think that they’re living like us as opposed to living like men? what exactly are they feeling that makes them think they’re women?

I’d like to add something for the gay men - all those “gay trans men” thinking they “think like gay men” and “act like gay men” and “live like gay men” or have sex “like gay men” is so blatantly homophobic. How do gay men think?

Sometimes this homophobia is expressed as an obsession or fetish for gayness. Whether it’s acting like gay love is soooo sinful and getting off on that, or acting like gay love is soooo queer and interesting and getting off on that.

Alternatively, sometimes there’s internalized misogyny involved in denying that the same feelings and desires could be had by a woman. How is your desire different from a straight or bi woman’s? How is it “outside the scope” of what a woman could feel? How and why is your attraction to men who treat you “like a fellow man” inaccessible to straight and bi women?

I ask these questions for the trans identified women and girls I’ve seen identify their uniquely “gay” sexuality as how they know they’re men or boys. Who say they looked at straight relationships and didn’t want that, so knew it had to be that they were actually dudes. Not, you know, that there was some actual problem with straight relationships all women face. It couldn’t possibly be that het partnered women don’t instinctively want to be treated this way, riiiight?

My face is having uncontrollable spasms. Great. It hurts really, really, really bad.

I think part of why I have trouble explaining pain to the doctor is when they ask about the pain scale I always think “Well, if someone threw me down a flight of stairs right now or punched me a few times, it would definitely hurt a lot more” so I end up saying a low number. I was reading an article that said that “10” is the most commonly reported number and that is baffling to me. When I woke up from surgery with an 8" incision in my body and I could hardly even speak, I was in the most horrific pain of my life but I said “6” because I thought “Well, if you hit me in the stomach, it would be worse.”

I searched and searched for the post this graphic was from, and the OP deactivated, but I kept the graphic, because my BFF does the same thing, uses her imagination to come up with the worst pain she can imagine and pegs her “10″ there, and so is like, well, I’m conscious, so this must be a 5, and then the doctors don’t take her seriously. (And she then does things like driving herself to the hospital while in the process of giving birth. Probably should have called an ambulance for that one!)

So I found this and sent it to her. Because this is what they want to know: how badly is this pain affecting you? Not on a scale of “nothing” to “how I’d imagine it’d feel if bears were eating my still-living guts while I was on fire”.

I hate reposting stuff, but I’ll never find that post again and OP is deactivated, so, here’s a repost. I can delete this later, i just wanted to get it to you and I can’t embed images in a chat or an ask.

This is possibly why it took several weeks to diagnose my fractured spine.

Pain Scale transcription:

10 - I am in bed and I can’t move due to my pain. I need someone to take me to the emergency room because of my pain.

9 - My pain is all that I can think about. I can barely move or talk because of my pain.

8 - My pain is so severe that it is difficult to think of anything else. Talking and listening are difficult.

7 - I am in pain all the time. It keeps me from doing most activities.

6 - I think about my pain all of the time. I give up many activities because of my pain.

5 - I think about my pain most of the time. I cannot do some of the activities I need to do each day because of the pain.

4 - I am constantly aware of my pain but can continue most activities.

3 - My pain bothers me but I can ignore it most of the time.

2 - I have a low level of pain. I am aware of my pain only when I pay attention to it.

1 - My pain is hardly noticeable.

0 - I have no pain.

It’s also really important to get this kind of scale to people who have chronic pain, because chronic pain drastically lowers your perception of how “bad” any kind of pain actually is, and yet something like this pain scale is extremely user friendly.

For example, if someone asked me how much pain I’m in at any given time, I’d say hardly any, and yet I’m apparently at a chronic 2.5, and it only goes up from there depending on the day.

There’s also a similarly useful “Fatigue Scale”

I haven’t been below a 5 on this scale for 4 years

Here’s the fatigue scale

Fatigue scale image desc:

10: can barely move; can’t talk

9: can barely move; can talk

8: can move, but can’t do much more than watch TV

7: can watch TV and play a game on my phone simultaneously

6: can do work on my computer lying in bed

5: can get around the house, but definitely couldn’t go out

4: can run a light errand

3: can get in my 10,000 steps, making my fitbit happy

2: can do three or more activities in a single day

1: going clubbing!

See also the Mental Health Pain Scale by Graceful Patient:

Mental Health Pain Scale transcription:

MILD

1 - Everything is a-okay! There is absolutely nothing wrong. You’re probably cuddling a fluffy kitten right now. Enjoy!

2 - You’re a bit frustrated or disappointed, but you’re easily distracted and cheered up with a little effort.

3 - Things are bothering you, but you’re coping. You might be overtired or hungry. The emotional equivalent of a headache.

MODERATE

4 - Today is a bad day (or a few bad days). You still have the skills to get through it, but be gentle with yourself. Use self-care strategies.

5 - Your mental health is starting to impact on your everyday life. Easy things are becoming difficult. You should talk to your doctor.

6 - You can’t do things the way you usually do them due to your mental health. Impulsive and compulsive thoughts may be hard to cope with.

SEVERE

7 - You’re avoiding things that make you more distressed, but that will make it worse. You should definitely seek help. This is serious.

8 - You can’t hide your struggles any more. You may have issues sleeping, eating, having fun, socialising, and work/study. Your mental health is affecting almost all parts of your life.

9 - You’re at a critical point. You aren’t functioning any more. You need urgent help. You may be a risk to yourself or others if left untreated.

10 - The worst mental and emotional distress possible. You can no longer care for yourself. You can’t imagine things getting any worse. Contact a crisis line immediately.

It’s really fucking concerning realizing I’ve been at a chronic 6 on the pain scale since 2012.

This was my problem when I went to hospital, I felt the most agony I had ever felt when I was admitted and then every time I was in pain I compared it to that pain.

wow seeing the mental health one is insane. at my worst at 16-17 i was bouncing between a 7-9 on any given day and pretending i was perfectly fine.

now my worst days are a 4.5 and my average day is a 2.5.

Why do accusations of racism, classism, homophobia etc hold so much more power than accusations of misogyny? Why is a form of oppression more acceptable than the other? Why do black men, gay men, poor men matter more than women? Why are women always considered separately as if they're a different type of human being? Is it because women come second to everything? Women are always the last group people care about

I haven’t seen anyone on tumblr talk or blog about this, so I decided to make a post. And I gotta say I wholeheartedly love this!!

Fuck you, Joanne! And fuck all TERFs!!

y'all would never do this with a man who was a piece of shit. and I mean actually a piece of shit, not just a man who said sex is real

There are male authors whom are rapist, pedophiles, racists and they’ve done nothing against them because the trans movement is a men’s movement

Supply does not exist without demand.
