can we maybe talk about how speak nows biggest theme is the comfort that comes from memory (mine, never grow up, innocent), how, except for dear john, every memory is positive while the present is hostile (back to december, the story of us, haunted, last kiss) and it’s such an important theme that the album literally ends with “we will be remembered,” AND THEN ONE OF REDS MOST PREVALENT THEMES IS HOW MEMORY CAN ENSNARE AND DECIVE AND HURT
