i cant believe only a few months ago people were burning cop cars and taking shit from apple and gucci and the nypd had literally no control over the protests and everyone knew it. now were endlessly talking about defunding the police while covid cases rise and yuppies get expensive organic food served to them by miserable workers in masks. i am so sad lmao

Even if you’re monogamous. This is not just for polyamorous people. Your partner is allowed to have fulfilling friendships outside of you. Your partner is allowed to turn to other people to help meet their needs. Demanding that they only come to you is unrealistic, toxic, possessive, and an unhealthy dynamic. The narrative that your partner should get everything from you - and you get everything from them - is a harmful product of bad rom coms. Don’t fall for it.

Also if your think you can be literally everything to them that they might need, support system, therapist, sports buddy, sibling, parental figure, best friend... You will combust. This ain't healthy for either of you.
