The bots are evolving to actively redirect you/ give viruses to you

Please reblog this so you dont fall victim. Do not click follow or try to go onto their blog, instead the only way to report them is to click the little three dots and click report

btw I've found these stretches from the WAK blog very helpful when knitting a lot:

Plus make sure to take breaks regularly - and stop if anything starts to hurt!

especially with gift knitting I know it can be tempting to push through it for a deadline, but it's really not worth causing long term injury. (And anyone knit-worthy should be understanding of that, imho.) Stay well :)

You have to be willing to sit through horrible albums sometimes to look for new music and you might find it impossible but it’s what makes life worth living to me. it takes the discipline of a warrior to be a true music lover not everyone can survive it

That’s literally god seeping into you

Sorry but it’s true, I’ve never met a person over 30 who wasn’t weird and creepy. Young people deserve a safe space away from that

killing myself on the eve of my 30th birthday lest i become a cringe and uncool geezer who is unrelatable to the youths.

There is a genuinely concerning trend of people refusing to connect with older generations in any way. Especially amongst certain younger queer people. Its actually deeply valuable and important to have genuine positive ties between people of different ages. Especially in the queer community, where so much of our history will be lost without that connection. Its actually absurd to talk about people who are 30 this way. I wouldn’t be here today, I wouldn’t be the person I am, without the support and mentorship certain people older than me gave me.

dating and relationships are the ultimate “you cringe you lose” compilation

sounds like a joke post but unironically one of the first hurdles to forming healthy happy relationships is to learn to suppress the impulse to go “eww lame” about stuff that partners or potential partners are into.

the chances of meeting someone who isn’t into at least a few things you think are really really lame is very slim, and instead of chasing after the dream of meeting somebody who only, exclusively, likes stuff you also like, it’s better to just like. learn to be more chill about people liking stuff you don’t, and hope that they’ll return the favor and be chill about you liking stuff they don’t.

Gee, Tumblr would probably really hate it if you shared and spread this damning article … To the surprise of absolutely none of Tumblr’s LGBTQ users, it turns out the independent NYC human rights agency Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) found that Tumblr’s ham-fisted adult content ban in December 2018 disproportionately targeted LGBTQ users. The CCHR’s investigation revealed Tumbler’s moderation algorithms is demonstrably biased against queer content. As part of the settlement, Tumblr was obligated to review their prejudicial anti-gay moderation policies. Even more mortifyingly, they’ve also had to hire an expert on sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) issues and provide unconscious bias training to their moderators. I frankly doubt Tumblr has learned a thing from this humbling experience. Just recently the Tumblr algorithm flagged three ancient posts of mine as violating their terms. All three “offenders” were vintage homoerotic beefcake images (softcore by modern standards) roughly 50 – 65-years-old by Bruce of Los Angeles, Bob Mizer and Tom of Finland. (These are of course pioneering queer artists who routinely faced censorship and imprisonment in the fifties and sixties. Plus ca change!). They've been visible on my page - corrupting viewers -  for years at this point. I appealed all three immediately. Only the Tom of Finland one was approved. The other two are now hidden. So, they haven't learned much. Apparently, Tumblr – who loves to declare how hip, youthful, inclusive and progressive their values are - wants to restore trust with their queer users. I’d recommend we remember their hypocrisy when Pride rolls around and Tumblr splashes rainbow flags everywhere and attempts to pink wash their image.

In honour of Pride Month, this is worth a reblog! Don’t buy into Tumblr’s hypocritical “pink washing.”

idly thinking about why Phoenix has a steel samurai ringtone when he doesn’t give a shit about it

And then realized it’s obvious

Maya changed his ringtone to the steel samurai theme and Phoenix has no idea how to change it back so he just suffers

So within two days of each other, Fox News writes an article comparing aromanticism and asexuality to pedophilia, and then Matt Walsh releases a video saying asexuality is a mental illness and asexuals are tricking teenagers into having depression.

Not sure what’s going on right now over in Conservative World, but it’s a hell of wild U-turn for them to suddenly switch from “Oh no! The left is sexualizing our children!” to “Oh no! The left is asexualizing our children!”

It’s a reminder, I guess, that they’re coming for all of us. The fash and the white supremacists will not make nice distinctions between the queers when they put us up against the wall. There is no gatekeeping, no label-policing, no purity-purging and no assimilation that any of us can do that will save us. They want us dead, and while they’ll start with whoever is most vulnerable at any given time, they’ll get around to all of us eventually.

Queer solidarity means all of us because the fash are coming for all of us.

All Dividers are Feds. Stand united or die separately.

I feel I must reiterate because it seems to have been lost in the sauce.

The anti trans shit you see being pushed everywhere is a coordinated group effort to dismantle the queer community by targeting vulnerable members. It is a unified push to target and isolate trans people from everyone else.

Every single time you see the gop and bigots push the same argument, it’d them coordinating a campaign in secret. It’s all bullshit top to bottom.

First things first. Permanent alimony was a life changer in getting a lot of abused women out of awful situations. Don't forget no-fault divorce only became the legal standard in the US in 1970, and was by no means accessible by all until considerably after that. There are plenty of women alive today who were abused housewives until their 50s-60s, who were abused in ways that didn't pass fault-based divorce standards in their state, who literally couldn't escape until that age. They were never allowed to hold a job, never allowed to manage their own finances, and already approaching retirement age in states in states which did not have the social safety nets to enable basic survival on social security alone.

Without permanent alimony, as compensation for their decades of domestic labor and childcare and the horrible abuse they endured, those women would have lived the rest of their lives and died in horrible domestic abuse. And like ... I really cannot emphasize enough how horrible this was. Still is. My mom's a couples' counselor and she keeps some pro bono slots open for women who need support during the process of leaving but don't have resources. I grew up hearing the anonymized echoes of their stories, every month at the dinner table. Just ... gods. The fucking horror that thirty years of that kind of abuse can do to a person. I can't describe it.

I want this to be the context for how fucking evil it is what DeSantis has done. How fucking evil these women are for going "got mine, fuck yours" about this. How much has been unmade and how much awfulness there will be going forward.
