one of my favourite things about young royals is that there is COMMUNICATION between simon and wilhelm. far too often in shows centre around teens and teenage relationships miscommunication is a massive problem and it always really bugs me. it was super refreshing to watch a show where the main characters consistently talked to each other- even outside of simon and wilhelm, simon and sara talked, felice and sara talked, hell even august and wilhelm talked. it was just refreshing for teenagers to actually DISCUSS their issues and not have it turn into a dramatic plot point.
