I like to believe that Zuko and Katara are soulmates.

Here me out...

If Aang had stayed in his time line, like a 100 years ago and the whole thing hadn’t happen which would be awful because the show it’s amazing as it is, i believe Zuko and Katara would have been together, they complement each other, the whole ying-yang troupe the show runs on and at the end they are like in serious sync with the other.

They obviously care for each other, i mean, guys HE TOOK A FUCKING LIGHTNING TO THE CHEST FOR HER. He could have yelled at her to move or something, I don’t know, but he took it to the chest knowing the risks.

She forgave him after all he has done and did you see their faces in that scene, both of them were relieved, she finally didn’t have to act so hateful to him and he finally had her forgiveness.

They were meant to each other, but Aang was there, in a timeline he shouldn’t have existed in, or maybe he had, but the point is he is right there and he gets in all these peoples lives, and in these soulmates path.

I like to believe that their are soulmates because even if the Avatar got in their way (don’t judge me i love aang) they are still friends, really good friends as we can see in some snippets of The Search.

They are the couple that in another life would have been together against the world, but the thing is that they are together against the world but as friends.

And it just makes me like them even more.
