Luna Lovegood Loves Thor commission, WonderCon 2016
Hi Tom, after seeing another post criticising Marvel's handling of the X-Men, I just wanted to say that I'm a big fan of the current slate and also the size of it. I've been an X-reader as long as I can remember, but I've always felt there was no need for a dozen titles. How it is now, with three team books that have very distinct rosters and purposes, with a couple of solo books that have their own visual identity, is absolutely perfect in my eyes. Plus, y'know, much more affordable.
Glad to hear that you approve!
Agree with this. BIG X-Men fan, but whenever there are more than 3/4 X-Books there are always a lot of filler and a feeling of directionlessness for the whole line (even if it may not be the case).
THIS IS SO GREAT. Really Monet’s costumes should always have an M on them. It’s the main problem I have with her current one. Nice job!
now that the dazzler is out of the bag, let’s have a drinky drink (or 40)!
I’m going to read A-Force simply for fantastic Ben Caldwell art. <3
Three X-men that need to be in a drawing together, name them and one man will try to draw them.

Another New X-Men short by @averagexmendrawings and @northstarfan, starring Wind Dancer, Hellion, and all of my Academy X feels.
I never did think Sofia would just stop superheroing after her stint with the New Warriors, and I also wanted some actual closure between her and Julian. So here we are, with Sofia upset and Julian not listening.
Almost like old times, really.
As with the previous story, this is set sometime during the Aaron run on Wolverine and the X-Men.
You literally just made the best kind of John Daly out of lemons. This is SUPERB.
This says, so succinctly, what I’ve always tried to say about political correctness and how it is not a new thing, nor is it a bad thing.
Kevin Wada draws and now also re-posts the best things.
Storytelling will always be paramount, but I’m so glad for fashion-conscious artists that are redefining how superheroes look, both on and off the field.
Those are props for you Annie Wu, Kevin Wada, Kris Anka, Ben Caldwell, Jamie McKelvie, Adrian Alphona, and countless others.
Real people aren't going to read comics, no matter what. Changing everything to be a pale imitation of the pale imitations that are the live action properties isn't going to help, it's just going to drive away the few readers left even quicker. Comics are going to die, folks. It isn't a matter of if, it's when.
Idiots have been saying this since before I got into the business. It wasn’t true then and it’s not true now–not unless we do as you suggest, and cater to an aging and dying audience of old men. That’s sure slow suicide.
Aloe vera is truly remarkable for burns.
