Feral Masterlist

Summary: Feral is an Alpha’s most dangerous state. Pure raw instinct. A killing machine with no thought. Only an Alpha under extreme duress can submit to their feral side and they rarely can come back out of it. It takes highly specialized rehabilitation to even have a chance at working. When a feral Alpha comes into the reader’s low level rehab facility one night, she knows he’s a dead man walking. But he doesn’t deserve to die and a split second decision to help him escape before that can happen will put them both on the run. He’s no ordinary Alpha though. He’s Dean Winchester. The boy who went missing all those years ago. The boy that made everyone realize no one was safe from the Alpha black market. The man that could destroy them both with one wrong move…

Pairing: Alpha!Dean x Omega!reader

Word Count: ~62K (individual counts in parts)

Warnings: language, angst, violence, mention of kidnapping, heavily implied abuse (non-graphic), smut

A/N: This story has a darker theme than my usual ones however nothing graphic or specific is shared. This series is complete!

This series is now complete for those of you that were waiting for the whole thing to start reading!

DON’T YOU DARE FUCKING END IT RIGHT THERE HOW COULD YOU

AND THE FUCKING CONCEPT ART OF PENNY I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU’VE DONE THIS

Well, pain, agony, and suffering aside, this was a FANTASTIC episode

All the stuff with Yang, and finding out more about Blake and how she trusts Yang to be different and not lie to her, despite her past. Finally a real explanation of where Jaune’s insecurities come from.

The leaf freaking symbolism got me right in the heart. THE ARKOS CANONIZATION GOT ME RIGHT IN THE HEART

And then Pyrrha just fully having a breakdown, terrifying Jaune and herself and revealing that she KNOWS that she has to become a Maiden. But she wants to badly not to have to, she’s looking for a loophole and she turns to Jaune for one, and he… he tells her to throw him away and go through with it

AND THEN THE NEXT MATCH IS PYRRHA FIGHTING PENNY?! PYRRHA MAGNET HANDS NIKOS FIGHTNING PENNY TEENAGE ROBOT POLENDINA

AND THE WAY THE BADDIES HAVE JUST GIVEN UP ON SUBTLETY REALLY MAKES BE TERRIFIED ABOUT WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN IN THIS FIGHT

All this to say, I loved the episode. It legitimately made me cry at parts. Thank you all so much for reading, thank you to the Discord and all those on Patreon for the support. The next episode will be on Wednesday at the normal time, if the emotions don’t give me a heart attack before then

See y’all later!

Aww you poor lamb, you’re not prepared for what’s to come.

Nora, I love you, please never change

Also, let’s be real she’s kind of right. Pyrrha’s fight is inevitably going to be rigged so that she (probably) injures her opponent like Yang did. So it IS going to be a really important fight

The most important one of her life though? Really? It’s still Volume Three of what, NINE?! The most important fight of Pyrrha’s life isn’t any time soon

Haha. Hahaha. Ha.

Blake taking the dive after Ruby instead of throwing her a line, which is what would have saved Yang.

She missed by inches. If Blake had thrown down Gambol Shroud as an anchor point and jumped, she could have grabbed her. And she clearly realized that the instant the grapple snapped tight too short.

My poor heart.

“You should have never been born.”

Anyone else feel like this was oddly specific?

I feel like this might tie into Cinder’s whole ideology as defined by her experiences with Rhodes. I think that Cinder believes that the whole ideal of what it means to be a huntress/huntsman is a sham, a lie that they tell others and themselves. Sort of a Joker-esque ‘deep down everyone is as bad as I am’. She basically took her experiences with Rhodes and applied them to everyone.

But of course, Ruby is the the real deal as the paragon huntress. And because of that, I feel like Ruby’s very existence is ANTITHETICAL to Cinder’s entire worldview. To Cinder, someone that truly righteous and good can’t possibly exist. So it makes sense that when she actually meets such a person, her response is basically ‘No, this is wrong. You shouldn’t exist!’

So, expectations at this point:

  • Team RWBY goes down, probably by choice to follow Yang.
  • Team Green is stuck in Vacuo.
  • Jaune, Nora, Penny, and Qrow (and Robyn and Marrow and the AceOps) probably get stuck in Atlas but rescued by Ghira and the Menagerie fleet.

Which gives us a nice three-way split for Volume 9. Well, four ways, there’s always gonna be a Villain Plot to focus on.

I’ve drawn this way way back January and I kept forgetting to post here but here’s to art where Pyrrha lived

In this AU Beacon still fell, Penny still “died” but Pyrrha lived (no one died or got substituted for her death). They got reunited in Atlas and became really good friends!

Artwork powered by Free and Open-Source Software (FOSS): Linux Mint MATE 19.1 and Krita 4.3.0

So like…

Watt’s speech to Cinder is the Evil Asshole version of Taiyang’s lesson to Yang.

You can’t rely on strength. You need to know which situations require strength, and which can be circumvented without it. Go around, not through.

Just another parallel between Cinder and Yang. Almost as though they’re being set up as foils for each other, for some reason.
