@ultravioletprime-blog

i’m jealous of people who have cute laughs and fast metabolisms and nice teeth and good hair and can just make any outfit look good and  get along with everyone and are great at sports and do well in school bc none of that is me

DEAR ANYONE WHO HAS EVER BEEN AFRAID OF BEING JUDGED BY THE CASHIER FOR BUYING SOMETHING:

I have been working in retail for three years and let me tell you: WE DON’T CARE!

Whether you’re a trans*boy buying tampons or you’re buying laxatives or you’re buying a thong or a package of hello kitty stickers, cashiers don’t give a shit, we’re usually too busy trying to find the damn bar code or trying to sign you up for a membership card. And honestly, half the stuff I ring up doesn’t even register in my brain. My thought process when ringing someone up is; *scan* *check screen* *scan* *check screen* oh crap did they just ask me something?

So don’t ever be afraid to buy something okay?

*kisses you and pats you on the head* Now go buy all the things!

this is just my personal life experience with long hair, these are the things i’ve heard the most
i want it even shorter now tbh

Ok listen up. I’ve had long hair all my life (minus one year where I cut it and donated it). And all throughout, people have said, “You should cut your hair”, or, “You’d be so much better off with short hair”, or, “Everyone has short hair so I don’t see why you refuse to cut it off”, and so on. It makes me the angriest person ever when people say these things. But you know what? I have kept my long hair for so many years now, and I never want to give it up. I don’t see why ANYONE should have to cut their hair shorter. If you want your hair to reach your feet, then let it grow out that long and keep it long. You want your hair at your shoulders? As long as you’re happy with that! NEVER LET ANYONE CONVINCE YOU TO MAKE YOUR HAIR SHORT!!! It doesn’t matter if you’re a guy or a girl because you know something? Your hair is your hair, and you have every right to do whatever you want with it. Make it messy or curly or pencil straight. Dye it five different colors! Whatever you feel would make you happier about your hair, do it.

The Bizarre Sculptures of Matthew Levin

Matthew Levin moved to Los Angeles in 2008 to work as a digital sculptor. A year later, he happened upon a box of super sculpey and a love affair began. Since then, his work has been shown on TV’s “NCIS”, displayed in numerous galleries, and commissioned by Guillermo del Toro, among others.

“Mr Levin’s portraiture is both quirky and mesmerizing. Each of his little sculptural sketches becomes a three-dimensional snapshot of the bizarre. Just as the eyes in a classical portrait are meant to “follow” you through the room, so will these disquieting Homunculi.“ - Guillermo del Toro (Source)

I knew this was coming

Now that the December solicits are out, I can show off the cover I helped work on with dcjosh. Super stoked it had Ten (one of my favourites) and flowers (if you watch this blog you’d know I love flowers so much)! Adorable robots and colourful flowers? Can’t really go wrong.

I’ll be helping out with some interiors for another TF comic coming out soon too – how exciting!

If anyone else is looking for some help with colour work, shoot me a message. Love doing this stuff! :)

<3 can’t thank you enough!

Gay does not mean interested in you.

Lesbian does not mean “probably going to hit on you”.

Homosexual isn’t a horny caricature trying to fuck you.

Get over yourself.

Bisexual does not mean “wants to have a threeway.”

Pansexual doesn’t mean ‘fuck everything and anything’.

Asexual doesn’t mean “just never had sex with you.”

Heterosexual doesn’t mean ‘I’m an asshole and bi/trans/homophobic.’
