Her mind seems to be her enemy most days and she knows it'll never give her peace. So why does Natalie Scatorccio call her mind beautiful and says she can't sleep at night unless it's with Lottie?

oh GOD and liv enthusiastically nodding and smiling and agreeing saying 'they were teammates, they were friends,' as jasmin says 'oh, thats sweet. its.. tragic.' (also sophie totally implied they communicated that way outside of games cus she followes it up like 'blah blah blah')

bathtub scene is so insane because for a moment, just for a moment, you could see lottie going back to being a teenager, going back to see how she was pre crash. being with nat makes lottie feel safe enough to just let herself be without feeling like the messiah or the prophet or whatever. she is just lottie, a traumatized teenager who loved football. nat keeps her sane and safe.
