Ngl I have had an awful year and a particularly awful last few months. I'm low on energy and as much as I would like to talk more about what's been going on it's a lot of personal family stuff that I don't wanna get into in a public space. I've been avoiding social media all together for a while for my mental health so it is super annoying that I have messages I want to answer and have been trying to build up the energy to respond to and then to come back to people sassing me over dumb shit.
Like, I just wanna talk about things that make me happy cause I have been in a deep depression hole for a while. There's a lot I don't discuss online, so I hate the holier-than-thou bs people wanna throw at me like they know exactly who I am from a few tumblr posts.
I hope things go better for you!
Day 19: Mythology. Kali.
It’s easy for combat to drag in D&D.
Speed it up by repeatedly mentioning how the orcs are sighing and passive-aggressively tapping their watches while they wait for their turn in the initiative order.
Switch things up in the tabletop gaming world: D&D can borrow the timers from competitive chess to use in their combat turns, and chess players can start cinematically describing how their piece is going to take out that other piece they just attacked.
Nightshift and dayshift passing each other...insomiacs sippin gcoffee staring hatefully at both of them.

Douglas, Wyoming is officially known as the “Home of the Jackalope”. The town claims this title due to its history. In the 1930s, Douglas Herrick created the first taxidermized Jackalope in the town by attaching deer antlers to a dead jackrabbit. While not the first ever artistic concept of a rabbit with antlers, Herrick’s version popularized a well loved souvenir for tourists. This version of the Jackalope is what we all picture when we think of it today.

ilove people who work at front desks of things. i can walk into a building and go to the desk and i ask how do i do this thing. and then they just fucking tell me !!!!
i walked into my college found the first desk and asked hey where do i pay my student fees. did that. ok where i do find the academic advisor? got the general direction, went up to the first desk i saw, asked where to go to drop a class .awesome. went to the bookstore, walked up to the desk, asked how to find out what textbooks i need. and AGAIN they had answers for me. this is so cool thank you desk people
no this is so real actually !! it always feels like you'll be expected to know everything when you do Adult Things but you don't, actually, you just need to know who to ask
