Watching these kids, ages sixteen and eighteen, I’m watching some serious friend-love in action, and those are among my favorite moments. Look at their total personal ease with one another here, Harry’s leg tucked under Louis’s arm—
followed by the ridiculous humor of teenaged boys. Harry so often in 2010 looks like “my mate’s brand of wit and daring anarchy is THE FUNNIEST EVER”
There are also many moments of palpable thirst, as in this gif, which is entitled “Harry likes Louis”
And the time Harry called Louis while he was doing a twitcam. I presume Harry was logged on and watching while he flustered him with just his voice

I used to think smoking and drinking was just part of Louis' lad image but I'm starting to think now that it's really him because we don't get a pic or vid of him when he isn't doing it, and that includes content from fans, journalists profiling him, interviewers and even himself who talks non stop about it. I don't think his team is telling everyone who comes in contact with him to mention him smoking. That's ridiculous. So I've accepted it now. Although it does irk me when he blows smoke in people's faces for a laugh, even if it's his friends. Nothing funny about second hand smoke. But anyhow, I wish we got more from him because I know there is more to him than being a laddy lad. He's very creative and intelligent and a deep thinker. He's not a one dimensional character but he does present himself that way.
He does. And that’s what really bugs me because we’ve seen so much more from him over the years. And that deeper, more complex person is so much more interesting than the one that’s being pushed to the forefront right now.
