That day finally came. The day that I stopped associating everything with you. When I heard that song on the radio, the song that we said would be ours forever, it was just a song today. When I wore that shirt, the shirt I wore on our anniversary, it was just a shirt I found today. When I put on that perfume, the perfume that you said you loved, it was just a floral perfume today. When I put on that necklace, the necklace you gave me for my birthday, it was just a necklace that matched my outfit today. These memories were once so hard to remember. It used to make me curl into a ball and cry myself to sleep. Those were the days I wished you were still here with me. But that day, the day everyone said would come, finally came. Everything they predicted came true and I just woke up one morning…truly happy once again.
