only just learned about the sexyman cecilsweep, but now i’m here to tell yall to listen to random number generator horror podcast no.9 (randomhorror9). it’s cecil (the va of cecil) and jeffery (one of the nightvale writers) talking about the plot of a horror movie each week and they approach it from the stance you may/may not like horror, it’s a chill time! I never watched any horror movies and it’s convinced me to sit down and try the few I’m comfortable with and it’s been a blast!

Fey and Flowers is incredible because like four of the players are doing a poignant exploration of queer identity and what it means to conceal, reveal, and be yourself in a society of largely silly but deeply held rules and expectations, and then Lou and Emily’s characters are like “I am here EXCLUSIVELY for drama”

im very taken with the idea of rue confessing their feelings to hob, and hob being caught between what he wants and what his duty is, and ultimately choosing his court by saying something along the lines of “im sorry i cant be romantically involved, my duties come first” and rue being devastated, but ultimately understanding - but then for the rest of the bloom, rue has that weight of expectation off their chest while hob is still pining in agony, so rue becomes even more at ease and confident and hot while hob becomes even more tired and churlish…… theres something about honour-bound characters that makes my eyes bulge out of my head while i scream AWOOGA
