I saw this thread on twitter today, and I wanted to share cause it made me laugh. Conversation is between Kondou’s actor (Taira) and Hijikata’s actor (Kubota). Update: as of 13/11, Yazaki Hiroshi and Matsuda Gaku have joined the conversation.
It has been 6 years,
I am super happy that I’ll be able to meet him again where I first crossed sors with him and see how he’s grown!!
Tomorrow, this long and blissful class reunion (as I called it myself) will also be handed to the 2nd generation Hijikata Toshizou actor, Matsuda Gaku,
and were going to the final performance…!!!! 🌸
Sorry! the second generation Hijikata Toshizou isn’t Gaku, but Izawa!! 😱

During the first generation I was called “Souji”, and you mixed up all kinds of things, so this is unrelated to it having been 10 years!!!
Kubohide-kun, and Gaku, please take care of Kondou-san.
(T/N: Taira called Hijikata “Souji” in one scene during Hijikata hen, not aired. He brought it up during the interlude skits in Hakumyu Live)

Kubota Hidetoshi plays Hijikata Toshizou (since Shinkai Souma hen)
Yuuki Izawa took the Hijikata role from Yazaki Hiroshi in Heisuke hen.
Sasaki Yoshihide took on the role of Hijikata in Reimeiroku, he was recast as Kazama in Harada hen and (now) in Hakumyu Live 3
Matsuda Gaku was the 4th Hijikata actor.
