you got into your first shop. you’re on the road to being a tattoo artist of high caliber. you’ve been tattooing almost 3 years and denied 5 shop opportunities. you kept up with it, honed your skills. the tattoo master reached out to YOU. he saw your potential, he treats you with respect and hired you as an apprentice not a shop bitch. everyone respects you and is helping you out. you’ve been on generic brand supplies since you started. at the shop you’ve got equipment that cost 3x more than what you could’ve spent. you’ve got more time to draw and people around you to help you in all drawing styles. you will be working as a brunch server while your 1 year apprenticeship. but it’s okay cause your mentor wants to make sure you’re comfortable and willing to help you transition financially.
the point is you finally made it. since you picked up tattooing you had 7 different jobs. but this is the one. you’ve worked so hard and here you are.
