I typed “I’m done with my shit” instead of “shift” here when I was 9 and got banned temporarily, and I cried so much and my mom was like “if you keep swearing online no company will hire you as an adult” and today still I don’t fucking know why she said that bc it made me cry even more.

Matilda’s strong young mind continued to grow, nurtured by the voices of all those authors who had set their books out into the world like ships onto the sea. These books gave Matilda a comforting message: “You are not alone.”

what terfs think happens when we agree with a post but then disagree upon realizing op is a terf:

terf: -and thats why i think women should have spaces free from men

normal person: i agree!

terf: im a terf btw

normal person: i no longer agree out of spite and will ignore you even though youre correct and i know it

what actually happens:

terf: -and thats why i think women should have spaces free from men

normal person: i agree!

terf: im a terf btw

normal person: i now realize that when you said “men” you meant a certain subset of women, and changing the subject of a sentence changes its meaning. when you change “men” to “trans women” i no longer agree

if i see one more post from a terf acting all smug about people agreeing with their crypto shit im gonna scream. no, we arent drinking your kool-aid, youre just too much of a coward to say what you really mean

I don’t know what grown adults needs needs to hear this, but it’s not okay for you, as an adult, to unload all your emotional baggage to a minor. It has never been okay and it is still not okay. You are an adult and they are a child. I don’t care if they said it’s okay or even if they’re begging you to tell them, it’s genuinely not okay and if never will be. It is not and never has been the responsibility of a child to make you as an adult feel better or whatever. A child should not ever have to talk you down from a ledge it’s literally so vile to put that responsibility onto a child.

Like, let’s frame it differently... Do you think it’s okay for someone’s parent to dump all that emotional baggage onto their child? Do you think it’s appropriate for teachers to talk to their students about their divorce or the troubles in their lives? Did your parents ever sit down and tell you that they too wanted to end it all at some point? It’s uncomfortable. It doesn’t feel fair, and it’s not. I understand that maybe you’re trying to connect with a child when you do that, but it’s not okay. When you dump that kind of baggage onto a kid you make it feel like it’s their responsibility to make you feel better. Like it’s up to them to “save you” and it’s not. It is never their responsibility. Like no child should ever have to talk an adult off of the ledge. It doesn’t matter what you are to that child, a friend, a mentor, a parent, etc. it doesn’t matter, it’s still not okay. You don’t put a kid into that kind of position. It’s not their job or responsibility to save you or make you feel better. Call a hotline. Go to therapy. Text your mom. Call a friend. Just don’t put that kind of shit onto a kid.

“Do you mind if I keep my umbrella, in case of a storm?”

My finalized illustration of Taako, wizard extraordinaire, when the trio first get on the train in Murder on the Rockport Limited!

[ID: a digital drawing of Taako from The Adventure Zone, facing slightly to the left as he clasps both hands around the body of his umbrella. He is a light-skinned elf with shoulder-length blond hair, a purple wizard’s hat with glowing blue decorations at the ends on his head. He is talking confidently as he looks to the viewer, open mouth showing a gap in one of his teeth. He wears a magenta capelet over a long-sleeved blue shirt, the golden Bureau of Balance bracer peeking past the fabric. The umbrastaff is a dark dusty pink with a dark purple tie around it, its handle brown with teal light glinting off of it. End ID]

one of the charms of the dream smp is all of the funny moments amidst the serious roleplay. tommy, about to throw himself off a tower, saying “it’s time to jump out of the cadillac“ dream accidentally blowing himself up and having to tp himself back. schlatt trying to explain why he kept diamonds in a furnace while wilbur is trying to have a corruption arc. phil heckling the lmanburg cabinet while sitting on his porch. tommy hiding under technos house and continually insisting it’s Their House now. lazarbeam logging on just to say “get off my lawn“ ghostbur happily waving to techno and alerting the bucher army where he was. you can really tell its just a bunch of friends making a story together huh

hey so uhhhh Late-August made a new dsmp animatic ( “Desolate” ) and it’s literally so beautiful please watch it. anyways, if you didn’t know, their first animatic ( “Innocence” ) really blew up (and you should watch that too, it’s also amazing) and i’m kinda a little bit maybe obsessed with both lol. so uh i just wanted to make this post pointing out some of the parallels i could find between Innocence and Desolate. i might be totally overthinking this, and this got really long (oops) but hey it was fun to think about.

this is kinda messy, possibly incoherent, and looping all over the place, but i tried my best to keep it in roughly the order of events in Desolate. there will be a | [innocence / desolate] under the picture(s) that says where they’re from, to hopefully minimize confusion.

let’s begin!

innocence
desolate

tying the two animatics together really nicely, to start it off. the end of Innocence has tommy, tubbo, and the other survivors grimly looking on at l’manberg’s remains, while Desolate opens up with tommy, tubbo, quackity and fundy (the cabinet and main-ish characters for dsmp season 2) surveying the damage in the aftermath of the war. very smooth. perfect for watching the two animatics back to back, and a nice reminder for people who watch them separately.

desolate
innocence

ghostbur wakes up in a forest! nice little callback to the beginning of Innocence, where wilbur spawns in a forest. the scene from Desolate is also more washed out and gray, presumably because ghostbur is. well. a ghost. he’s dead, and the general vibe isn’t as hopeful/happy as it was in Innocence, before all the war and insanity and bloodshed.

desolate
innocence

bit of an obvious one, but i think it’s really cool how Late-August showed ghostbur remembering his death. not to mention, this also emphasizes his character’s color as blue.

innocence
desolate

interesting how the tables have turned, isn’t it? in Innocence, wilbur was looking down on dream, confident in his independence and proud of his country. and in Desolate, it was dream who sat on the wall, looking down on tubbo – looking down on the president of l’manberg.

Some of these are old, but I really wanted to show it to you, I HAD to do this. How can I express all the love I have for this cat daddy?

I have to thank @schusseltier thanks to her I had a lot of inspiration, so thank you!! <3

Also, thank you @incorrect-moomin-quotes ,you motivated me too! X)

nb: The Joxter is not really like this, it’s more like headcanons! :)

Why are Lesbians like this ? .Do they take pleasure in attacking everything sacred ? .Or just love sexualizing those that take vows of Chastity ? .

.... Nunneries, specially during the renaissance were a safe heaven for a lot of lesbians or women who didn't want to marry... So this is a historically based joke you dumb bitch

I can’t stop thinking about this and how she straight up turns into a classical painting at the end
