But pitbulls make up a majority of dog bites in the US. They were bred to be more aggressive. It’s ridiculous how people can’t own machine guns (which statistically have killed FAR LESS people) yet anyone can get what’s essentially a living, breathing time bomb with no background checks or anything. We need to regulate pitbulls the same way the ATF regulates machine guns and other NFA items and make it so that everyone who wants to own one be licensed by the government.

These dogs routinely murder anything that gets in their way. They can be loving and caring but also volatile and dangerous. You’d be safer leaving an M134 Minigun loaded with a shit load of ammunition out in the open in your house than you would be with a pitbull. At the end of the day, they can be senseless weapons of mass destruction and should not be given so much positive attention.
