Some days I feel way worse about being autistic than I ever did about being trans. At least there's meds and treatments that can change my body. I'm dealing better than I was years ago. But my autism, there's no fixing that. There's no way to improve there. It gets me down

I mean it gets in the way constantly. Communication issues. I seem to upset people all the time, no matter what I try. I've seen therapists, gone to classes, I grew up in special ed, but I've never managed to mask consistently enough to get along with people. Even other autistic people. It's just a lot, all the time.
