For trekcollab. The theme is “minor characters” so here’s everyone’s favorite precious baby quarter-Romulan, Simon Tarses. This is free for anyone to color, so have at it. : )
More trekcollab. Lineart by the v talented torpedoesarts, colors by me.
This was way fun to color. Makes me want to start practicing drawing aliens again.
This is for trekcollab!
Free for any artists/colourists to colour if you like! Just please don’t remove my signature and url (but you can move the url to a different place if needed) and tag #torpedoesarts and #trekcollab when you post it.
High res version here. Let me know if you would like an even larger version.
For colourists working in Mischief, here’s the Mischief file to download.
Hi! I just discovered your page and I'm so excited about it! I love art collabs and would love to participate too! I just wanted to ask a question first because of past experience... I draw lots of TOS but also lots of reboot, and some of the Trek sites are run by people who focus on hatred rather than loving the series and who exclude newer series. I've seen people treat other horribly for liking the reboot or Enterprise, or also Voyager and DS9. Is reboot art welcome here? Thanks in advance!
Anything related to any Trek series, movie, or even the millions of books is welcome!

As per the last admin post, the whole round/sign-up element is officially over! Now you can contribute lines and colors any time you like. There's a new rules and FAQ page to reflect this. Let me know if you feel I've missed any important info.
onesmallgarden suggested having occasional themes, and we're starting off with Minor Characters! This and any future themes are just for a bit of extra fun and inspiration, incorporating them into your work is totally optional.
the merriest of men for trekcollab! hi res file is here for anyone who wants to color it.
Color away!
Today's the day to post lineart assignments, but there are only a few people wanting to sign up - and since I, for one, don't want this community to die while it's still a li'l fetus, I'm thinking perhaps the structure of the community should be changed.
Under consideration is making the general premise and participation less restrictive, creating a much more open coloring book collection of collaborations rather than month-to-month rounds. With this method, any Trek-related sketch or line drawing that any artist does, at any time, could be posted here if the artist would like to allow others to take a crack at rendering it, with the option of doing so open indefinitely. This could additionally involve a yearly Secret Santa exchange to keep things interesting.
Thoughts? Other ideas?

My coloring of sjmillerart's line art for trekcollab, which is an ongoing open participation group for fan artists of Star Trek!
Had a lot of fun with this one.~ Doing the different backgrounds for each version of Sisko was my favorite part to figure out. Click through for full image size.
LINEART SIGN-UPS: CYCLE TWO
If you’d like to contribute lineart over the next few months, starting with April, now’s the time to sign up! To do so, just reply to [the original post] or send an ask - please say which show(s) you’re likely to draw for, so they can be as evenly distributed as possible (you are not locked into this, if you end up drawing for a different series that’s fine!).
Sign-ups will remain open until assigned months are posted on Monday, March 3rd. Lineart will be due within the first week of your assigned month and you will have from now until then to complete it.
This time we’ll try out bi-monthly rounds in the hopes that the extra time will encourage more color entries.
Obligatory question mark: ?
For trekcollab, lineart by sjmillerart!
I colored this on a unfamiliar computer with a terrible screen and Sai. What I learned from the experience is: I miss Photoshop.
Reminder to our third round of artists that drawings are due by the first week of March! They can be submitted directly or posted to your own tumblr with the tag #trekcollab to be reblogged.

My line art for the trekcollab! [hi res file]
Anyone can color it and be sure to tag it #trekcollab by the end of the month!
I’ve been wanting to draw something based on the Far Beyond the Stars episode for aaages and this was a perfect opportunity.
(fyi for the mod: I was signed up as polunocnica because my art blog isn’t my ‘main’ blog and tumblr is dumb)
Reminder to our second round of artists that drawings are due by the first week of February! They can be submitted directly or posted to your own tumblr with the tag #trekcollab to be reblogged.
I watercolored Jamiekinosian’s lineart from Trek Collab!
There are plenty of little mistakes, but overall, I’m actually pretty happy with it. I had a lot fun and learned a TON.
I printed this out on some random thick paper that I found lying around which turned out to be less than ideal. The paper took up the paint somewhat differently than watercolor paper and, once I was already partway through, I found it had a seam/perforated line down the middle.
My coloring of Jamiekinosian’s drawing for Trek Collab
This was so much fun to color~*~ If anyone reading this wants to color this amazing line art or others, you can print them out here! Just make sure to tag it with trekcollab!
