I hurt, because I know she will never listen to my words with an open mind again. I hurt because yet I would do anything in the world to be with her, I hurt her too much. No matter what I make of myself, whether it be the richest man alive or the kindest, I will never have her. Her as in the one. She was the one I let slip away, straight through my fingertips and I will never forgive myself. No matter the times she forgives me, I will never forgive myself. Once full of love, now I live a heartless life of giving back. I do nothing for myself or out of love. I do it because I owe society for my wrongs. I do it for the world. She was my world, but no longer accepts that title. She’s somebody I used to know, love, obsess over… she was the one
