This isn’t a “border militia” and they’re not “detaining” or “arresting” people. This is a white nationalist terrorist group kidnapping desperate people. Shit

A bit of perspective from a NM resident here. 

He did not kidnap anyone. Nor did anyone else. He was arrested because he had been convicted of being a felon in prior arrests and was in possession of illegal firearms. The Union Pacific railroad owns the land that they are camped on. Their security officers told them they had until Friday to leave. The Sunland Park Police Department then stepped in and told them to leave the area due to several residents of this small town telling the police they were tired of the harassment by these thugs. 

Did they surround the migrants and pretend they were law enforcement? Yes, they did. 

Do they have guns? Yes, they do. They stated they did not point the weapons at them, but there is no proof that is true. I am of the belief they did and lied on their videos. 

Are they out there being a bunch of racists? Yes, they are. This group had been training to assassinate Obama, Hillary, and George Soros. Mr. Hopkins, AKA, Johnny Horton Jr has been in trouble several times and clearly has nothing better to do with his time than stir up shit about white nationalism and fear. 

Please don’t perpetuate false information about the kidnapping of migrants as that is not true. Words matter and how they are used in the context of telling what is real and what is not. They are detaining people in groups, but no one has been ‘kidnapped’. 

To me being detained is a kind of kidnapping.
