Psychotherapist Rita Powers murdered by her patient, a transwoman, because Powers didn’t think he was an appropriate candidate for sex reassignment surgery Note, in the link, that the transgender community blamed Powers for being murdered, saying that if she had just given her patient what he wanted, she would still be alive. In other words, ‘she asked for it.’ Sound familiar?

When pressed, she finally got a response claiming the post includes ‘transphobic language.’ To date no one has explained exactly what that ‘transphobic language’ was. She quit in protest.

                                                TIER 5

SOCIAL EXCLUSION, DOXXING, HARASSMENT, GENERAL INTIMIDATION OF PEOPLE WHO QUESTION TRANSGENDER PEOPLE/IDEOLOGY

  1. Laci Green doxxed for saying “tranny” years ago, even though she apologized Yes, THE Laci Green that liberal feminists love so much.
  2. Cathy Brennan was stalked and harassed by a group of transactivists in Olympia for refusing to say that a homosexual male could also identify as a lesbian.

There are so many open threats of violence made against trans-critical people, particularly against lesbians and/or radical feminists, that I cannot list them all. So I’ll summarize instead:

WITHDRAWAL OF SUPPORT

Transactivists are known to threaten to withdraw support for feminist causes/organizations if they fail to openly pledge allegiance to transgender ideology. Many such organizations are in desperate need of social support and funding, so they don’t have much of a choice except to go along with what transactivists tell them to say. The message is clear: “Your rights are important, but validating my beliefs is more important.”

One example:

SOCIAL MEDIA PHASE-OUTS

Ask ANY radical /gender critical/trans critical feminist, and they will tell you: we get deleted, harassed, banned and blocked more than anyone. Many of us have lost real-life friends over trans-critical Facebook posts or even for asking questions. It seems that transactivists patrol Facebook for the slightest hint of “transphobia” so they can pile-on and virtue-signal what a Good Trans Ally they are.

Again, there are too many examples to post here, so here are just a few examples: (x)(x)(x)

TERF BLACKLISTS Transactivists on Tumblr often make lists of alleged “TERFs” and command their followers not to engage with, or reblog anything from, people on the lists. Some examples:

The “TERF hive” commands trans allies to censor, harass, report, block and otherwise shut down trans-critical sites:

DIE CIS SCUM This is a popular slogan in transactivists circles. Transactivists argue that their use of this slogan is okay because “they’re more oppressed than cis people.” As you can see in the picture below, it’s a very threatening slogan, especially when tattooed on the body of a male holding a baseball bat.

#KILLALLTERFS A favorite hashtag of transactivists. Many examples of these open threats of violence can be found on the following websites:

Here is a small sampling of the kinds of threats made against us by transactivists, taken from the 3 links above ^

VIDEOS:

TRANSACTIVISTS IN ACTION See it for yourself.

Also worth considering:

These major “feminist”/women’s websites will publish pro-transgender pieces but won’t publish “transphobic” (trans-critical, gender-critical or radical feminist) pieces:

Feministing, EverydayFeminism, Jezebel, xoJane, The Frisky, Bitch Media, The Establishment, Refinery29, Bustle, Black Girl Dangerous…

Autostraddle even blatantly admits to being inclined to give trans*people more money for their writing (source)

Many trans-critical writers have had to resort to publishing on Right-wing websites just to have a platform, even though they do not sympathize, or want to associate, with the Right. (This is part of where the “radfems are conservative” stereotype comes from.)

So now the question is:

WHO’S SILENCING WHO?

Avatar

Pay attention, if you’re not already neck-deep in the gender wars of online feminism. TERF is an acronym for “Trans Exclusive Radical Feminist” that its users claim is applied purely descriptively. Critics of the term point out that it is not used neutrally, but in all cases pejoratively: TERF is a curse word used solely against women, a version of “bitch” that liberals can feel OK saying. “TERFs” are charged with inciting and inflicting violence against transgender people, despite the fact that violence against transgender people, like all violence, is overwhelmingly committed by men and not by feminists of any stripe.

The definition of TERF is extraordinarily loose: what one is supposed to be excluding trans people from is never identified. To state that male and female bodies exist can be enough to win the TERF label; to state that the division of sex is the foundation of sexual oppression is more than sufficient. (If your observations of reality have led you to believe that sexual dimorphism in humans is both real and socially relevant, you may be confused to learn that acknowledging this is now deemed evidence of bigotry in some quarters.)  It is also a highly toxic definition to apply to someone, both because of the intimation of violence, and because there is a hefty taboo within the left at large against “excluding” anyone.

Vague in meaning, powerful in effect – two qualities which combine to mean that the word TERF is incredibly handy for anyone who wishes to stop women from discussing our oppression as women, by men. (Who wants to stop women discussing our oppression by men? Usually men, of course.) It is a thought-stopper extraordinaire. Here’s an example. This morning, I tweeted the following in response to a discussion about domestic violence I heard on the Today Programme:

Lindy West – brilliant, funny Jezebel writer Lindy West, wrote that hilarious thing about SATC2 – retweeted it. Great! My small act of feminism has been shared by a writer with a following thousands of times greater than my own, surely the revolution in sexual consciousness is just around the corner, etc etc. But wait! A man has something to say:

Note that this is his response to a feminist sharing a comment by another feminist about domestic violence. Not solidarity against male violence, not horror at the fact that a woman has been killed by male violence every 2.3 days in the UK this year, but concern that the person speaking (in this case, me) is somehow unclean. Don’t worry though, he’s not entirely lacking in self-awareness. He knows it’s not really his place – as a man – to tell a woman what she should and shouldn’t say, even though he’s just, um, told a woman what she should and shouldn’t say. His disavowals aside, the word “TERF” does its work:

Am I a TERF? West didn’t have the time to check: avoiding any association with a tainted form of feminism took precedence over sharing a message about domestic violence. And she acted perfectly rationally in this: to associate herself with me, even by merely RTing a statement she agreed with, could be enough to make her a “known TERF” in turn and lead to her being similarly denounced in public. But note the end result of this: a feminist has withdrawn support for another feminist speaking against male violence, because a man told her to.

This is what the word TERF does. This is why it is misogynist’s dream, and this is why – if you’re a feminist or even if you simply see yourself as not-anti-feminist – you should never trust it and never, never use it against other women.

“a porn/snuff movie about killing TERFS….. wow…. and all they want to do is PEE IN PEACE, right? Peak queer misogyny & anti lesbian bigotry, ‘Sluts4sluts’ collective makes pornography out of violence against lesbians & radical feminists.“

The (hilarious? ironic? terrifying?) truth is that “TERF” is used against anyone, particularly any woman, who does not 100% buy into gender cult beliefs and rhetoric.

“Kill all TERFs” is essentially saying “kill all women who disagree with me”. They are advocating for the deaths of those who do not conform to their world view.

How is that not fascism? Or at least terrorism?

This kind of sexual aggression is undeniable male. “Let’s make a porn that shows us raping the women we hate”! Classy.

20% of transgender women in prison in California are rapists.

Many activist groups are campaigning to put these rapists in women’s prisons, with their preferred type of victim. In fact, some rapist men HAVE been placed in women’s prisons, where they have raped more victims.

There is no law against a rapist or pedophile changing his legal name and gender. Allison Woolbert, executive director of the Transgender Human Rights Institute, founder of the Transgender Violence Tracking Portal, and the website TERF Tracker, was a convicted pedophile rapist who changed his name and gender, masking his past.

This blog is to catalogue sick fucks like him who make an attempt to hide their crimes by claiming to be women. He is not unique. There have been many and will continue to be more as long as people like you pretend this isn’t happening.

Hey OP! Guess what! Even ONE women being a victim of a disgusting men like those matter to us! Contrary to you, apparently.

over 50% of the trans women in california men’s prisons (from the same study the 20% sex offenders comes from!!) report sexual violence at the hands of inmates and guards and the deliberate act of focusing on a frankly imaginary epidemic of sexually violent trans women using their trans status or even pretending to be trans to access more victims in women’s prisons by hyper focusing on isolated and even outright fabricated cases is an attempt to obscure the fact trans women are overwhelmingly victimised in men’s prisons.

like, even the 20% statistic relies on rounding up the real number (17.94%) in a study of 39 women, where 7 of them were flagged on the registry in a state where pissing in public can get you on the sex offenders registry.

the problem isn’t that i don’t care, the problem is there’s no convincing you and people like you because it requires a fundamental shift in your perspective to see reality and that’s just very difficult and painful once you’ve completely isolated yourself out of a traumatised desire for self love and protection.

What don’t you get? I already told you that BAGIS (British Association of Gender Identity Specialists ), an organization compromising basically every single gender identity professional in the British isles, went to parliament to tell them that there is an “ever increasing tide of transwoman sex offenders”

The converse is the ever-increasing tide of referrals of patients in prison serving long or indeterminate sentences for serious sexual offences. These vastly outnumber the number of prisoners incarcerated for more ordinary, non-sexual, offences. It has been rather naïvely suggested that nobody would seek to pretend transsexual status in prison if this were not actually the case.

These transwomen convicted of serious sexual offences “vastly outnumber” transgender prisoners convicted for ordinary crimes.

These child rapists get benefits from identifying as a woman, including

  1. Access to trips out of prison
  2. Sexual access to vulnerable incarcerated females
  3. Early parole due to parole board’s false belief that transwomen are less dangerous than other men.
  4. False belief that transgender medical treatments will decrease their future impulses to commit criminal sexual offenses.
  5. Desire for special status within prison system.
  6. Desire for protected status within prison system.
  7. Enhanced ability to commit future serious sexual offenses against women and/or children while disguised as women.

so, serious question, did the woman at the talk actually attack a trans person first? i'm disgusted by the wave of misogyny this event has kicked up, but i do think it changes things if she's the one who made the first move...

No, she did not. From what I understand, and from what I can see on the video, she is attacked first for filming and trying to prevent her assailant(s) from grabbing the camera. TIM (trans identified male) “Tara Flik Wood” runs at her to get her camera, then two others descend on her where one is clearly punching her. This leads to a lot of scuffling, and we can see that she tries to grab onto the person, but they still manage to get a hold of her camera and throw it to the ground. She is still holding him when “Tara” returns to throw a couple of punches at her face and “rescues” the other assailant from her grasp. At one point here the woman ends up on the ground where according to her, she gets punched and kicked, and kicks back. So from what we can see from the evidence (the video) and her own testimony, then no, she definitely did not start the attack.

Avatar

I made a gif of the initial attack. I’ll post it as many times as I need to.

She was filming while masked and hooded transactivists shouted “when terfs attack we fight back!”

She asked them “who’s attacking” as they chanted. And here you can see one of them smack her hands and camera with a sign and then assault her:

The person filming pans away after this, not having noticed, only catching the scuffle again once there are more people in the way. You can see in the rest of the video (I wish the unedited original was still up) that the victim and I think another person try to wrestle the camera away from the attacker. It reportedly did end up getting smashed:

She then grabs the kid who was hitting her and breaking her property (which transactivists are eager to spin into being the initial attack) and is assaulted again by the the second attacker, also masked and hooded, who had been hanging out on the outskirts of the crowd.

Trying to wrap my head around what happened in London re: the “What is Gender” event so I’ll gather up all the posts I’ve seen on the matter:

  1. Trans activists convinced a venue of cancelling an event that was supposed to be a discussion on the meaning of gender, hosted by a gender-critical transsexual male and a lesbian & attended by radfems. The venue claimed it was cancelled for “health and safety reasons" and “not due to outside pressure,” even though campaign groups such as Goldsmiths LGBTQ+ Society celebrated the cancellation saying “We succeeded in putting enough pressure on the organisers that they decided to cancel for ‘Health and Safety concerns’, and without the brilliant work of our Full Time Officers this result wouldn’t have been possible.” (screenshot in the New Statesman article linked below)
  2. When radfems met up at Speaker’s Corner to go find the new venue, a 60-year-old woman was beaten up by 4 trans activists. (I love that in the notes of that post there’s a trans male saying 4 men ganging up to punch a 60yo woman is a bad thing “because then terfs get to continue to bitch and whine about how “violent” we are.” The New Statesman article also quotes a trans activist saying this male violence against women is bad because “it’s EXTREMELY unhelpful to trans women as a whole”. It’s also unhelpful to the woman who was punched in the face but who cares. Meanwhile the poor trans males unfairly stereotyped as violent are disappointed that only one woman was attacked and that “every terf” didn’t leave “bruised and bloodied.”)
  3. “there were about 40 radical feminists/women wanting to attend the talk, and a similar amount of protesters. Women wanting to attend the talk (who mostly turned up alone) were fearful of going up to other people and asking about it, because no one knew ‘which side’ other people were on.” After the attack, the protesters followed them to the venue and stayed outside blocking the exits and chanting anti-terf chants “the whole time the talks were happening”, until the police arrived. (Ironically, one of the chants was “hate not debate”… always poignant to witness the emergence of self-awareness in primitive life forms.) Then “the discussion moved to a pub and the women were harassed as they left the venue.” (x and x)
  4. The organisation “Action For Trans Health London” organised this protest on Facebook beforehand, encouraging trans activists to show up and disrupt the event, incl. through violence - they liked a post on their page by a trans male who said “Any idea where this is happening, I wanna fuck some terfs up, they are no better than fash” (see link). Hilariously they also encouraged “allies” (i.e. women tbh, let’s not pretend that means straight men) to come “act as barriers” between the violent TERFs and the “vulnerable”, “at risk” trans males (who were willingly coming to disrupt an event attended by people they are supposedly terrified of?) “to ensure their safety and protection.” Here a clearly frightened trans activist is desperately trying to locate the violent TERFs in order to run away from them stalk and besiege their event, saying “HERE IS A THREAD OF VENUES WALKING DISTANCE FROM SPEAKERS CORNER. PLEASE CALL THEM TO ENQUIRE AS TO WHETHER THEY ARE HOSTING THE EVENT.”
  5. The trans organisation later made sure to delete the page where they encouraged the protest, and turned off reviews for their organisation. They also commented “There was an incident this evening which will be hatefully and wrongly depicted by TERFs as male violence. Do not be deceived by violent attempts to discredit and erase our struggle.” A sexagenarian beaten up by 4 men = not violence. Women talking about it = “violent attempts to discredit…” As someone pointed out in that link, this is textbook DARVO - “Deny, Attack, and Reverse Victim and Offender; a reaction perpetrators of wrong doing, particularly sexual offenders, may display in response to being held accountable for their behavior.”
  6. The New Statesman wrote a shitty article about it (direct link) in which they said none of the organisations who organised the protest (Sisters Uncut, Goldsmiths LGBTQ+ Society, and Action for Trans Health London) incited violent action (except when they liked tweets by trans males about fucking up terfs?) but, on the other hand, the event was “an attack on trans people” because, “for example”, the lesbian radfem who hosted it “calls trans women ‘he’”. Ironically, they quote the pro-radfem trans male who co-hosted the event, saying “Just once, just fucking once, I’d like one of this lot to condemn male violence without any qualification”, and then conclude, immediately after, “No conclusions can be drawn” re: the attack and “it’s probably best to […] condemn both transphobia and violence against women.“
  7. Some of claireshrugged’s tweets about this. And a twitter thread by someone making a point re: the strategy of dehumanising “terfs” and equating them with Nazis/the alt-right in order to normalise and celebrate violence against radfems/lesbians, similar to what I was starting to figure out 6 months ago in this post - “I was talking about moderate trans allies in my last post and how they might feel uneasy about women being threatened and attacked irl by the more extreme trans activists, but honestly I think a large number of them are growing increasingly comfortable with irl violence against women […]” The New Statesman article uncritically includes a tweet saying “TERFism and fascism have similar tones and tactics.” It’s only going to get worse.

I’ll leave the last word to Victoria Smith:

>this is terf lies! it never happened!

>video comes out

>she put that tranny in a choke hold off camera!!!!

Like clockwork.

News update on the gender event in London. Trans activists have now resorted to violence of a 60 year old woman, and have surrounded the women from outside the event, trapping them inside. This is the reality of the gender cult, to threaten and use violence against anyone who dare to question, disagree or oppose its doctrine. This is the reality for women, folks. Not the men who harass, beat, and kill transpeople. But women.

Every single death/rape/other violent threat sent to a radfem was sent in full seriousness, and this is evidence of that. These deranged motherfuckers are 100% serious about making sure we never feel safe. And we’re supposed to accept them into our spaces?

Tell me again who’s oppressing who?

What happened?! What gender event in London? I’m so confused and scared.

“Terfs have blood on their hands” ah yeah actually we might considering gendershits will beat old women up and MAKE them bleed on their hands

The event afaik was “What is gender?” At the new cross learning centre which then cancelled it due to unacceptable risk. Why are people like this just let women gather ffs

Transitioning is a varied process that differs from individual to individual, so it doesn’t always involve surgery. But when it does, those surgeries might not be covered by insurance and are often expensive, which is why a Christian group is encouraging church members to donate to help transgender people with surgery costs.
Faithfully LGBT, an organization that seeks to share the stories of LGBTQ people of faith, has started a campaign called the Tithe Trans Campaign to raise money for the transgender community. The campaign takes its name from a practice in which some Christians donate a tenth of their earnings to the church.
Faithfully LGBT is collecting donations to send to the Jim Collins Foundation, a non-profit organization that raises money to provide grants to cover gender affirming surgeries.

Direct link to the crowdfunding campaign:

So far they’ve raised 5% of their goal of $10,000.

lmao wow

UMMMMMMMMMM……………………

Big deal, the church has always supported conversion therapy

A church gets to promote conversion therapy, archaic gender roles AND get praised as progressive for it. Win win for them I guess,

And Tumblr is eating this shit up. Typical.

This hurts.

This fucken hurts, cause I know for a fact if my mother were still alive, she’d be all for this. Hell she probably would have made me transition if I had come out when she was still alive. ugh.

Mine too if this was an option during my childhood & I never would of loved to love the gay woman I am pretending to be a hetman.

i hate men

Thanks, playboy.com.

“Suck a cactus” sounds a lot like insults tossed our way when we explain to jealous men unwanted attention isn’t merely annoying but often scary. Sexual objectification is a form of dehumanization, not a compliment. And he admits he knows we think so.

Yet, here’s the rub: if sexual objectification is so categorically awful, then why do I want it so badly?
In my academic and feminist training, I’ve been told over and over again that sexual objectification is bad. The thinking goes like this: women around the world have been treated as sexual objects instead of people. Women who, in the course of trying to run a board meeting, have been hit on by their colleagues. Or, during a job interview, have been sexually harassed. Women who have had their brilliance diminished by solely placing value on their bodies. Women whose day-to-day experiences have been marred by unwanted sexual attention, catcalls, leering looks and once-overs. This type of sexual objectification is seriously dehumanizing; it reduces women and feminine-of-center people to objects, flattening out who we are and taking away ownership of our own bodies. As such, my feminist training taught me that sexual objectification is categorically undesirable, categorically patriarchal. Therefore, we must fight against sexual objectification in any form and create a world where no one is sexually objectified again. Yet, here’s the rub: if sexual objectification is so categorically awful, then why do I want it so badly? The idea that being seen as a “sex object”–at any time, ever–is universally a bad thing is too simple, like many tenets of straightforward, non-intersectional feminism.

Anyway, here’s more evidence trans-identified males and females do not share the same experiences and why male opinions on feminism are never welcome.

i think he conflates ‘sexual objectification’ with ‘sexually arousing’, considering he keeps going “um please sexually objectify me but DONT TREAT ME BADLY AND DONT OBJECTIFY ME WHEN IM BUSY”. Also, can we talk about how he complains that only cis-white-thin-abled people whine about objectification, even though he’s like three of those things?

“I want other men to sexually objectify me the way I sexually objectify women.”

This is one of these MRA pissbabies who probably thinks women have it “easy” because all they have to do is be hot, be hairless, cake on makeup, wear 5 pounds of hair extensions, wear 5 inch heels and let men treat them like a brainless subhuman object that exists only for their carnal enjoyment to be discarded when they get bored with it.

Screen grabs and quotes from the documentary “My Transgender Summer Camp” feat. sexist parents who transed their two-year-old because he liked glitter. I guess if I’d been born ten years after my actual birthday, my “I hate pink” phase would have meant I would grow up to be a trans man.

Also note the phrasing at the end: “At the age of three, Ryan’s parents –”. Sounds about right, because turning your effeminate son into a girl seems like a decision only a three-year-old would make.

Oh, and, no, I didn’t leave out anything relevant they said. They literally went straight from “He liked pink and sparkles and that was strange” to “We started researching transgenderism.”

so has any human being who isn’t an MRA or a troll or a terf in disguise actually used the term ‘cotton ceiling’ or

I’m an MRA and I’ve never heard that term before. What is it supposed to mean?

it means nobody likes you go away

Gonna assume it’s not something I’d ever say then.

Cotton ceiling is the tendency of trans women to be excluded from the higher echelons of (cis-dominated) women’s and queer spaces — specifically within the porn industry, but also society in general. It is a manifestation of transmisogyny at the intersection of cissexism, misogyny, and the glass ceiling

I mean I don’t use it, and I don’t really understand it etymologically, and I think it’s couched in a lot of fancy language which means a lot less than it says, but… I don’t see what’s wrong with it, either…

You don’t see what’s wrong with women’s underwear being called a barrier to be broken through?

the underwear being referred to ISNT the cis women’s; it’s the trans woman’s (or fat, disabled, nonwhite, etc. woman- the cotton ceiling often refers to radicalized bodies in general). the implication is that what is in the trans woman’s pants is excluding her from spaces and connections, and it’s something she needs to overcome. transphobes twisted the language the other way to demonize trans women.

Dude, I was around for the Cotton Ceiling Conference.

Like, literally irl around. It was hosted nearby, even, and I spoke with Morgan Page, one of the people presenting it.

It distinctly referred to the underwear of lesbians who refused to find trans women sexually attractive.

But hey, don’t take my word for it! Let’s hear from Avory Faucette, a trans activist involved with the Cotton Ceiling:

[T]he cotton ceiling [is] us[ed] to challenge cis lesbians’ tendency to support trans causes generally but draw the line at sleeping with trans women or including trans lesbians in their sexual communities.

Drew Deveaux, the originator of the term, is even more specific:

“The cotton ceiling is a theory proposed [by trans porn star and activist Drew DeVeaux] to explain the experiences queer trans women have with simultaneous social inclusion and sexual exclusion within the broader queer women’s communities. Basically, it means that cis queer women will be friends with us and talk day and night about trans rights and ending transmisogyny, but will still not consider us viable sexual partners.

The term cotton ceiling is a reference to the “glass ceiling” that second wave feminist identified in the workforce, wherein women could only advance so high in the workforce but could not break through into positions of power and authority. The cotton represents underwear, signifying sex.”

So right there from the horses’ mouth–

The cotton ceiling represents underwear, signifying sex, and the underwear in question refers specifically to lesbians’

Please, don’t try to retcon history to someone who watched it go down.

They are trying to backtrack and rewrite their own disgusting misogynist terms to make them more palatable to the masses. Nope. The cotton ceiling is most definitely rape culture rhetoric. Anyone who says otherwise is flat out lying because they know how disgusting it makes them look.

“Sexual exclusion”. What a rape-y thing to call women’s natural boundaries.

^ From the horses mouth (again)

^ “Breaking sexual barriers” (implying that the “cotton” part of “cotton ceiling” = women’s underwear to be “broken” through, as one would wish to “break” through a glass ceiling)

^ Even from a pro-trans perspective this sounds entitled and rape-y as shit!! More examples here and receipts of trans people using the term unironically here.

lmao look at them trying to redefine the word

Of course they are. They got called out for what it is and now it has to be the terf’s fault somehow.

This interview is indicative of the casual racism and sexism which says ‘black women aren’t really people’.  Shout out to Murray correcting it.
