rb to have a super gay 2023
My surgeon came out and told my mom and brother on Tuesday that I’d be down and out for about two weeks.
My brother: TWO WEEKS? Holy shit.
Surgeon: Well, consider this. She and I just had a knife fight. And I won. Because she was asleep during it.
My brother: Oh. Yeah, okay, that’s fair.
Your surgeon sounds fucking hysterical.
I got a small squash from my parents garden and baked it with cranberries and it was good. The baking happened some days ago, so it's all eaten now.
Here is the recipe!
Look, some years aren’t graded as A/B/C/D/F or even pass/fail, but Last Bastard Standing. In a few weeks I will still be here and 2021 won’t be, so we’re going to count this as winning.
10/10 absolute badass response @marta-bee

Ah the free market at work. (Similar to when I went to CVS to pickup a 90$ prescription and they had their own generic version for 7.99).
This is important! Tell your Friends.
I can’t believe some insurances quit covering them 😐
From Slate:
The generic Adrenaclick will cost $109.99 for two doses, compared with $649.99 for the same amount of drug in an EpiPen. That’s good news, both for financial and safety reasons: STAT reported last year that some parents and institutions had begun filling up syringes with epinephrine as a cost-cutting measure, a DIY solution that could pose great risk to the children who may have eventually needed injections. A more affordable alternative will help ensure safer epinephrine injections.
That’s assuming, though, that the people who need these devices know exactly what to ask for when they’re sitting in their doctors’ offices. Otherwise, they’ll still be stuck with the overpriced product. Here’s why: The mechanism by which Adrenaclick injects the drug is slightly different from EpiPen’s mechanism, so the Food and Drug Administration has ruled that the two are not therapeutically equivalent. That distinction is important because it means a prescription for an EpiPen cannot be filled with Adrenaclick. If you want the cheaper option, you have to have an Adrenaclick prescription.
You must ask your doctor for an Adrenaclick prescription!
I also found a coupon from Impax on 0.15mg and 0.3mg epinephrine injection, USP auto-injectors, which appear to be the generic version of Adrenaclick; these coupons cover up to $100 per pack for 3 packs of these injectors (6 total injectors).
Some customers may be automatically eligible for $100 off the retail price thus only paying $10 for a pack, but this may be good backup for those who for whatever reason do not meet those requirements.
Pass this information on, potentially save a life.
I am 20 years old, Two-Spirit, street medic organizer for an Indigenous street medic collective. I was among the arrested during ceremony at the Red Lake Treaty camp.
On Friday July 23rd I was in sacred ceremony and peaceful prayer with many others on treaty land as protected by our Article 6 and 1st amendment rights. Ceremony started at dawn, and by noon riot police had surrounded those in prayer on all sides. I saw no riot, I saw no disturbance of peace, what I saw was water protectors from all walks of life and from all over coming together to pray for our Mother Earth, for the water, for the future of all of the Creators creatures. Despite this, I watched as law enforcement violently grabbed and detained those dear to my heart and then eventually myself as well. We sat in jail for 4 days, many of us denied medical treatment, medication, changes of clothes, and menstrual products. During and after my arrest I was suffering from heat exhaustion, as well as complications from being denied my medication for nearly two days. For two days I was violently ill, unable to keep even water in my stomach without vomiting. I attempted to explain that with my pre-existing health conditions as well as heat exhaustion that I needed to be taken to a hospital or be seen by medical professionals. I had my basic vitals taken, was given some tums, which I was later made to pay for, and told to lay down and drink water. Police showed a blatant disregard for constitutional law, human life, and Mother Earth, a disregard that will not stop with reform, not with new laws or optional standards. The police are in Enbridge’s pocket too. It will not stop until police are abolished and Enbridge stops violating the land, water, and people. Today it is us, tomorrow it will be you. Will you stand by and watch?
If you feel called to, please consider donating to my G*F*ndM* so I can continue doing work to protect our waters and Mother Earth
THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR TAGGING US!
Please reblog this! Boost it! This person is a water protector that messaged us asking us if we could help boost this.
Also this is really good because I've been seeing content about how the Water Protectors of Line 3 have had their basic rights taken away, but I wanted a detailed post with first hand experience because the simple "they're taking away they're human rights" doesn't fully express what's going on.
(Normally in against boosting donation links, but water protectors really need the money to help meet bail.)

“ngl” implies that there are times when you’re gl.
gl!!! im gonna be fucking false with you bestie!
honestly that "it costs 0 dollars to be kind" bullshit is bullshit. it does cost things to be kind. it costs time. it costs energy. and it isn't always easy and it isn't always natural. it costs so much to be kind, sometimes. but that's the whole point. if being kind were easy, or simple, every single person would be an angel. but they're not, and the world isn't easy and simple. so no, it does cost something to be kind. but it's worth it anyway.
You know what? It’s really like that sometimes.
This is automatic stress relief

every damn day i get online and see someone trying to bring a black women down, simply for just living. its even worse when i see other black women doing to their own.
the world's hatred for black women honestly hurts me so much. it's very lonely being a black women sometimes, we only have ourselves and sometimes not even that.
i wish yall would just leave black women alone.
