my favorite thing is that Gerard didn’t even have to act any different

other than the twirling (which anyone in a skirt has to do), Gerard pranced and strutted around and posed and swayed their hips and danced in a lot of femme ways like they normally would

this has always been Gerard as a performer and it’s so exciting to see them get to embrace it in this way, after years of using the stage to explore their gender
