PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia Municipal Court is resuming evictions as early as Monday, saying landlord tenant officers have now received training on use of force and de-escalation tactics.

In one incident in March, a plainclothes landlord tenant officer shot a woman in the head. In another incident in July, police said a woman was shot in the leg. A spokesperson for the court's Landlord and Tenant Office said evictions will now be conducted in teams of two officers who have all received Pennsylvania Constable training.

So I found out a little more about this.
Firstly, we need to establish that FIDE, the top international chess league, has a very long history of being misogynistic. That's just something FIDE has been doing for a while now.
Their logic is that there are too few women in chess, so therefore they made an international women's league and an international men's league so there would be more women in chess, since women kept on losing to men apparently (which only really happened because they weren't as experienced but whatever).
The logic behind the ban is so Grandmasters like Magnus Carlsen and Hikaru Nakamura can't trans their gender to win easy tournament money from women's tournaments.
Except, of course, no one fucking does this, and if I'm not mistaken there is not a single transgender player in the top 1,000 chess players globally.
So, on a deeply personal note, not even as someone who's good at chess or was planning to become a GM but just as someone who thinks the Game of Kings is neat and occasionally plays it—fuck you, FIDE.
It's all "we love mobility aid users" until we say that small businesses shouldn't be allowed to get away with violating the ADA and then it's all "but but the money giving you the same basic access as everyone else is soooo hard and expensive".
If a business doesn't have an ADA-standard ramp it deserves to fail. If a store can't keep its aisles clear and wide enough it deserves to fail. If a business can't keep the floors even and non-slip it deserves to fail. If users of any mobility aid can't navigate a business it deserves to fail. We are not a nice addition or an extra customer base. We are non-expendable human beings with the right to enter public places with the same ease as everyone else.

A spotless giraffe was recently born at Bright’s Zoo in Limestone, TN and was just announced in the media this morning. They’re starting a public naming contest for her, of course.
I’d love to know what type of mutation causes this lack of of pattern, but I don’t know if we have genetics on that for giraffes the way we do other species. As far as is known, she’s the first spotless giraffe ever documented!
