I’m just super fucking bitter that once the flint water crisis got it’s 15 minutes of fame people stopped giving a shit. The water is still poisoned, people! Donations have plummeted and people have been forced back into drinking and bathing with the water! The medical effects of this are astounding, cases of legionnaires disease have skyrocketed, people are having seizures, people are having weird rashes break out over their body, people (including me!) are having their blood poisoned, and it’s not just lead! it’s coliform bacteria! it’s THMs! it’s all in the water and it gets into the bloodstream and breaks down blood vessels, causing bruising and petechiae and internal bleeding and no one gives a shit anymore and it’s only gotten worse like how many people are going to have to die until people realize this is still a problem

I would like to add that the people of Flint cannot sell their houses, because selling a house with leaded water is illegal. Additionally, households with children can’t stop paying for the water because living in a house without running water is cause for CPS to take their kids. Flint has been living this way for over two years. 

The people of Flint are trapped by the legal system. And it is only the most high profile case out many cities with a similar problem.

I feel like the “may cause death” part on that chart needs to be majorly bigger. The descriptions of the first two sound like they’d be unpleasant, but “unpleasant” doesn’t cut it. Needs to have a way bigger “THIS IS HOW THEY KILLED PEOPLE IN WARS BEFORE IT WAS OUTLAWED” warning.

There are def safe combos, but because some of these can literally explode or create weapons the use of which is a warcrime, please do NOT experiment, but LEARN through KNOWLEDGE passed down by others who know more.

But, a hazard presented here that is not mentioned: Throwing all that bleach powder around is a respiratory hazard. ANY airborne particulates or non-air gasess are hazardous.

Wear a mask and/or work in a well-ventilated area while working with any breathable non-air substance. That goes for paint, dust, sawdust, cleaning supplies, glue fumes, nail polish fumes, smoke (even from food and candles), mold (food or room), or any other particles/gasses.

If you feel light-headed, or you're coughing, or your eyes are watering or getting dry, get fresh air immediately and air the place out.

It’s inherently racist because it assumes all cultures follow the western concept of the absolute gender binary rooted in what genitals you have.

It’s also racist because it defines womanhood using conventionally attractive white women as the baseline.

Women who have facial hair, have thick or “excessive” body hair, have broad shoulders, have “masculine” facial features like angular jaws, have deep voices, are taller than “average”, have receding hairlines, are muscular, etc are immediately assumed to be men because they don’t fit white European ideals of womanhood. And these standards do affect white women of course, whether they’re cis or trans, but they mostly target Black and brown women.

There’s a reason why Black women, particularly athletes, are the ones who get targeted with so many accusations of being men. Why they’re expected to undergo hormone testing. Why they’re accused of having “excessive” testosterone. Why they’re expected to undergo physical examinations to “prove” that they’re “real” women.

Radical feminism, trans inclusive or not, is based around biological essentialist white supremacy whether radfems want to admit it or not.

There’s also something to be said about how TERF misandry, and the narrative that the truscum/transmeds revolve around, is rooted in the european idea of what a man ‘should’ look like or what a man is, as well. And this also goes for non-binary genders and the image of what that ‘should’ look like that is pushed on them. There’s a connection between transmeds and TERFs but I cannot fully articulate it. @star-anise​ probably has better sources and ability than I do on that topic.
